PrepacBlack Quad Width Wall Media (DVD,CD,Games) Storage Rack

I have a large DVD collection and it keeps growing. I found this storge unit just what I was looking for. The assembly was easy and the shelve are very adjustable. I chose the all black color but there are options for other colors. The unit sits a little over the thickness of a DVD cover away from the wall which keeps it from taking up too much of the room you have it in. The package eve comes with wall straps if you want to secure it.Streaming is good but playing from a disk gives superior picture quality. So this stand is perfect for those of us who still have physical media collections.

First of all. It was shipped very fast to me. I really liked that. When i got it, there was a lot of pieces to put together, I thought it would take me forever to get it all done. But I got it put together in about 2 hours with a few breaks in between. They said that it can Hold over 700 dvds. I believe it's true. I have over 500 so i'm not sure about the 700 but i have a a lot more open room left. I have the black one. It looks nice! Its also very strong. I have a two year old that likes to climb and it can hold him, he's about 27 pounds, so i really love that it can stand up to that! I'm 5'1 and the dvd stand is taller then me. and it takes up half my wall but it's not that wide so it doesn't take up Over all I love it.

Had this unit for a few months now and its a nice piece, holds a ton of my BD and Games However the unit has a very major flaw, its super easy to tip over. I had emptied it out and moved it away from the wall to paint behind it and my cat decided she was going to stretch on the black part of it and was able to knock the whole unit over easily, this is a small cat, maybe 7 lbs. Needless to say the unit broke at the top of 2 vertical planks. One at the wooden dowel and the other over at the cam locking screw. I have attempted to glue it back together but I fear it wont take as its just particle board. Over all I like the unit however I highly recommend making sure you anchor it in place and if you move it try to find a place to lay it down flat so you dont have my problem.

This is an easy piece to put together. It arrived in two boxes - one with the shelves, the other with the frame and backing. The instructions are straight forward and easy to understand. The shelves are bevelled so they won't slide back and forth on the pegs. The pegs are easy to insert in the holes - a few needed to be sunk by tapping with a hammer. Anchoring to the wall is easy - it's a heavy-duty zip tie with a bracket for the wall and a bracket for the back of the unit.The only thing I did differently from the directions was how I attached the backing. It comes with a bunch of tiny brads. I used my heavy duty staple gun to connect the back, which was way faster and worked very well.Only drawback - I don't have as many movies as I thought I did! The thing is huge and is a great space-saver!For the money, it's a great unit! People who are saying it's cheap or poorly made don't realized how expensive some of these units can be. Highly recommended!
