It actually works. My daughter gave me a Mz. Wallace bag several years ago for Christmas. I used it once, the strap’s kept falling off my shoulder so I just put it away. The adhesive strap holder works. Buy it

It’s good but could adhere better. I’m sure it varies depending on the material of the strap you’re using it on. I have been using it for a few weeks and it is lifting a little. Before, my purse would slip repeatedly off my shoulder and this keeps it on my shoulder though so that’s great! I just might have to replace it occasionally. Good thing it comes in a pack of six.

I got this invention with confidence, feeling like this was a no-brainer purchase. I get it, a comfy gel strap sticks to the strap of my purse or bag so that it doesn't slip or dig into my shoulder. I place a lot of purchases with Amazon and don't always review unless I have the time or feel the need to spread the word on my personal experience being positive or negative. This is my feedback and it is not favorable.1. The gel strap doesn't stay put. The glue isn't nearly strong enough. I am certain this is deliberate so that you are not committed to the strap on your purse/bag indefinitely but the glue isn't even strong enough to last one day.2. Insufficient coverage. The gel strap isn't long enough. The measurement of most shoulders (beginning from the front and sloping over to the back) would be longer by at least a few more inches than this strap is made. To be thorough and keep a bag from not slipping, the strap must also cling to your front and back not just the arch of your shoulder.3. The gel material is too thick. The bulkiness actually begins to wrinkle as you move, so it bunches up and begins to lose the stickiness.4. It doesn't work with leather. I adhered these to two bags. Both purses are leather, one is smooth leather and the other is a rough/raw leather and neither purse could have these straps adhered to them.5. The gel is too wide. Obviously not all straps are the same, so why didn't they supply the customer with varying sizes? Sure I could have cut to fit the strap but with it's inefficient glue, why bother.Overall, this invention was a good idea but it's a big sad fail. Maybe the makers could invent a gel sleeve, rather than this poorly made "strap".

Had all the promise to like but its let than impressive and for that matter will not purchase again , both the product nor from the seller. The gel strap doesn't stay put. might be good idea to address texture side that adheres to body or clothing. The glue isn't nearly strong enough. This has made two of my bags usable because before the straps just would not stay put - now, I can go hands free and my bag stays up on my shoulder where it belongs. I bought a 2nd package in clear so that it won't matter the color of the bag. Also, you can cut them if needed for a thinner strap.

Does the job well. No more slipping bra straps; HOWEVER, by end of day I had to peal off my shoulder which literally took skin with it. Not sure I can use again.

Whomever created this was a genius! Keeps your handbag from slipping off your shoulder I highly recommend!!

they can be used in so many ways. Bras - if your strap is narrow cut them on half lengthwise. For slingback shoes the same if the strap is narrow. These can be used in so many ways to correct wardrobe malfunctions.They also survive a cold water wash. Yes they are pricey but you get what you pay for and more.

For black bags the clear strips show up and are quite unattractive. They don’t last forever and I am on my second strip in month 3. They do work though… your bag will not slip off your shoulder with these on the strap. I just wish they weren’t so pricey… thus the 4 stars.

Wanted something to stop my purses from sliding off my shoulder and this works perfectly.
