only about half jar filled
The jar I received had just about half the jar filled. I get that I'm probably still getting the advertised amount but why waste so much space. Invest in smaller jars... Now taste wise, this is fairly decent, it has a bit of crunch to it however the taste isn't as strong as it should be IMO. Its also a bit more runny than I'd like. If you tilt the bread it'll start dripping down. At this price I'd expect better

Very tasty
This Fabalous Organic Crunchy Chocolate Spread is very tasty, although quite mild in flavour. It is not a thick spread, in fact it is quite runny and if not spread thinly will run off whatever you spread it on. Refrigerating it to thicken it up is not really an option, the label instructs do not refrigerate. It is pleasantly crunchy, the pieces of nut being quite small, and it has nothing of the gooey texture of peanut butter. If it were just a little less runny it might be perfect.

Eh meh gerd
Do you know, the best possible compliment I can pay this is that it tastes almost exactly like Nutella. Nnnnggh. Now, ok, it's not identical: husband and I did a "blind taste test" (we've also done it with Diet Coke and Pepsi Max, which is how we discovered that Diet Coke is vile and Pepsi Max is amazing... come at me) and we could certainly tell the difference, but not enough to make you want to choose Nutella over this.Equally, this has chunks of hazelnut (so if you do your own taste test, be sure to leave those out... they're a dead giveaway), and they taste like they've been ever so slightly salted, so they have that unctuous nutty flavour, and then they're surrounded by chocolatey yumminess. It's 29% chickpea which worried me a lot... I love hummus as much as the next gal but don't like the idea of it in chocolate spread. So have no fear: you would never know this has hummus in it!Lastly, the jar isn't huge - it's 200g (so the same size as one of the smaller Nutella jars), and at £6.85, it isn't cheap. At all. But it's full of good stuff, and isn't full of bad stuff so if you have the pennies to spare, you should absolutely spend them on Fabalous's chocolate spread.

Delicious, and slightly healthier than the alternatives so more guilt free.
This is much better than nutella, I've mainly been using it in some overnight oats. It's not as thick and dense as nutella, it would be easier to describe the consistency as 'room temperature butter meets crunchy peanut butter'. It doesn't have that annoying glued to the roof of your mouth adhesive quality that peanut butter has, or the cloying, overbearing, sweetness of nutella. It's well a balanced treat. It taste like it's got chickpeas in it, so there's no flavour conflict, just a really pleasing variation in consistency, along the benefit of the lower sugar amounts than the competition.
