Tasty soup
My wife likes the Andersons split pea soup with bacon but we decided to stock the Andersons split pea soup without bacon because we always add fresh chunks of meat and cheese to the soup anyway.

Great Soup/Bad Packaging
Always love Anderson soup but every can in the case was severely dented. One can was opened and splattered over the inside of the Amazon box. So we got 11instead of 12. First bad shipment received.

Delicious
Arrived in perfect condition. I was skeptical after reading the reviews. Arrived on time and no bent cans.Tastes just like the restaurant.

It’s a excellent soup.
When I moved to this small town, the stores do not carry this brand. So I was lucky to find it on Amazon, thanks.

DELICIOUS, but a lot of sodium in it!
I bought a case of this Andersen Split Pea with Bacon Soup - 15 oz (12 pack) and I am glad I did as It brought back many happy childhood memories! This canned Andersen Pea Soup is almost as delicious as it was many years ago when I could actually buy it in my local rural Idaho market. Sadly for me, that small market closed about 8 years ago and a Safeway store took over, but they don't accommodate their customers and will not carry this soup.I grew up in Southern California and enjoyed eating this Pea Soup fresh in the Pea Soup Andersen's Restaurants in California. There are only 2 remaining restaurants now, one in Buellton CA and one in Santa Nella California.Anyway, as far as the quality, flavor and texture of this soup; it is still creamy and delicious, so it is still my most favorite Pea Soup in a can! But, a big concern for me is that the label of this soup, which shows the ingredients and nutritional info, is quite a bit different from the one on the ad! The salt content has increased and there are more additives in the cans I received! (Please see my photos!)Now, for the delivery condition; The 12 can case I ordered appeared to have been repackaged. 6 cans were fine and 6 cans were very badly dented and placed in the middle of the case. No cans were actually leaking, but the ones that were dented prevent me from using them for longer time storage. We obviously are eating up the dented cans 1st.I truly enjoyed getting this case of Andersen's Pea Soup, and I would really love to order more to keep on hand, but I will not be able to eat it as often as I had planned because of the high sodium content per can! I easily eat the entire can for 1 meal, so that is way too much sodium for just 1 bowl of soup, even if it is extremely tasty!- Sodium per serving: 880 mg at 38% of the daily value. (That is only for just half a can!)- Sodium per can: 1520 mg at 66% of the daily value. (This is for the whole can, which is just 1 bowl of soup for me! That is just way too high of s sodium level for me and my family, and yes it does taste salty!)

A classic soup.
This is the soup that is worth driving 100 miles from Los Angeles to savor! The canned version is surprisingly good and well worth it.

Kind of expensive for the quality
The price is kind of expensive for their quality but I recommend to buy less and taste them and then it's up to you. Unfortunately they do not come in smaller packs.

Comfort in a can
Andersen's - Split Pea with Bacon Soup was a nice surprise for me. Split pea soup has always been a favorite with me but I never tried it with bacon. I really liked it and will buy it again.
