Whiskey Words & a Shovel II

Very good and deep poetry. Highly recommend it.

I’m a huge R. H. Sun fan. This second addition did not disappoint. I recommend him to all women.

My 2nd book Iv read from r.h. Sin. I take my time reading the poems, sometimes even reading the same one multiple times. It's a relaxing read for me and helps with realizing that I'm not the only one. As a male reader I replace the "she" with "he" when I read and it still flows. It feels real for anyone that can relate and some of the poems will really hit you deep. Just ordered volume 3 of the series, but can see myself reading this book multiple times.

I love his books I bought this years and years ago and just now decided to go on Amazon and write a review for all of my purchases ever made, this book is amazing and so are all of his other books I’ve read so far, I haven’t been staying on top of him so I bet he has way more written now will def buy all of the new ones not on my kindle either I love these books to feel and holdIn person ! 💛💛💛 thank you for your knowledge that you share

I had very high expectations when I ordered this book & honestly, they were met to perfection. The poetry is breathtaking. The books itself is astonishing. I cried a good amount of times just from how much the words touched me. I finished it within a couple hours & will be going back to read it in depth. I shared a few pictures of some of my favorite poems with a friend & she can't wait to grab her own copy. I simply adore this book. Thank you so much Sin, you nailed it! - Sam

Poetry is always difficult to review as everyone takes something different out of it or maybe they don't understand it.This book has a lot to do with self love and reminding yourself that you are good enough, you are great, you are beautiful.It discusses the pain of loving someone who you thought loved you back but later learn that what they said were just words to them with no real meaning. It discusses how it's not your fault and that's something we all need to hear.This is telling you to love yourself, focus on you, and so many other wonderful things.I would recommend this collection of poems to anyone who is looking for a slight pick me up, who needs to be reminded how great they truly are.

I LOVE this book. Best break up/moving on book. It's poems, so there is not story. But there is a story within each. It's empowering and makes me feel strong in my weakest days. Just ordered another copy because I gave my other one to a friend and she hasn't returned it. So I let her keep it. ;) I keep the book in backpack and read a couple pages on my breaks at work. Helps to ease the pain of an aching heart.

Again, I literally love this book and I love everything by this author. This book has so much feeling and emotion and I can just relate so damn much! It's a great read if you love anything emotional and you love poetry
