Great to walk in.
I wear a 9EEE and need a high instep, also like my shoe really loose around my forefoot. These fit the bill. The only small complaint I have is I wish they would have a better color selection and make a slip-in model.

a flawed design
These shoes are very comfortable, but very hard to adjust, the top draw string is cheap, and broke off, the adjustable straps are not fully covered in velcro, only the end portion, so adjusting the sandals to fit is near impossible because the heel strap does not stay on due to the lack of velcro for the entire strap. It's to late to return them, so I'll have to add the additional velcro myself

Great but strap detached - but repair was simple
Bought these in Aug 22. I am fortunate to live near a nature reserve so frequently hike 2-4 miles so they have been used. My main concern at the time of purchase was the negative reviews I read seemed to be themed on the flimsy nature of the heel strap but I went ahead and bought anyway. I love the sandals and wear them all the time providing there is not snow on the ground and they give great arch support and are super comfortable. However, the heel strap is attached via a thin metal buckle about the thickness of a paper clip. After 4 months of almost daily hiking the buckle broke on one of the sandals meaning the heel strap detached making the sandal useless. I repaired using a small metal key ring (photo attached) to reattach the strap and the sandals are now fine but for 120 bucks they really should address this defect. Aside from detaching, the quality of heel strap and the rest of the sandal has been fine and this review would be 5 stars otherwise. The right shoe heel strap buckle also broke early Feb 23 so if you are really using these hard on a pretty much a near daily basis then you are going to get 4 -6 months use before you have to repair the broken buckle issue in some way.

Totally satisfied
Needed a show that was a strong support shoe, had Velcro to adjust the fit but also arch support which all keep me pain free due to a bunionette. Thank you,

The extra-extra wide will help with your swollen feet.
I have to suffer with neuropathy 24/7, and as my feet go from swollen to very swollen every day, too, I had to find a shoe I could wear that could handle the fluctuations. They're not perfect, as my high instep makes it difficult for me to get my feet into the shoes. I wish there was a version that would accommodate this one negative. The insoles are very comfortable and are wide enough to account for my very tender heels. This is one of only a very few men's shoes that Orthofeet makes in a very wide size, I encourage them to offer more styles—especially ones that are more open at the top to make it easier for large footed men to get their feet into them more easily.

Best shoes ever
These are great summer shoes if you need heavy support and arch/heel support. I own a number of styles from this brand and probably won’t buy anything else in future.

Poor quality. Returned.
As I get older I find I need a better shoe with higher arch support. I've been wearing Keen sandals for several years and they always fit right the first time. Only problem was the models I bought didn't have enough arch and the insoles weren't removable. So I tried these.Well, this was a mistake for me.Even though the sandals were labeled the same, correct size, with no sizing inserts, the right sandal was significantly tighter than the left. Also, the insoles didn't fit the shoes properly. As soon as I stood and took a few steps, I could feel that there was a gap at the back of the sole. It felt like wearing a shoe that was too short and my heel was hanging off the back. The shoes did not cup and support my heels. When I looked closer at them and popped up the back of the insoles, the insoles were not shaped right so there was indeed a void or gap under the back of the insole.Since these are not cheap shoes and had lots of positive reviews, I was a bit surprised but I found the quality and fit more akin to what I would expect from the discount shoe store at the mall.Fortunately for me, Keen now makes a walking sandal with higher arch support and a removable insole. First pair of Keens I tried on fit perfectly as they always do.

I like them, will buy another pair when these wear out.
This is my second pair of Orthofeet sandals, they are very comfortable. A huge difference from other shoes I wear. I can wear these all day with minimal discomfort. I do find that they rub a little if not adjusted properly and that causes pain, butonce properly adjuated and worn in a little, I like them. The heal strap is kind of a pain in the ass. I have limited knee, hip and ankle mobility, making it very difficult to reach my heal on my left foot. The strap and support ears often get twisted up when putting on the shoe and I have a difficult time reaching to straighten it out. A small inconvenience though.
