This was exactly what I was looking for. My daughter had Soooo many stuffed animals and I just wanted 1 place to put them. The folds came out within a couple of days of the basket being filled with all her stuffed animals. She loves to crawl into the basket with the toys too and it is holding up great!

This is fantastic! Yeah, it's basically just storage, but no seriously, this is absolutely amazing quality. Beautifully made and I'm shocked that it is so reasonably priced given the quality, it is more like a work of art. The weaving is very heavy and solid and the basket very sturdy. I've been to plenty of stores looking for storage solutions to try to get my house looking a bit more orderly because it's been looking hopelessly messy of late. I'm not kidding when I say I haven't seen anything in the ballpark of this price that is of similar quality. Also, this is quite a unique piece, which is why given the quality, it feels more along the lines of a work of art, it feels like it was handmade with care.I basically thought I'd try this out because of it's size, when comparing against other stuff, it had appreciably more volume for anything else I found and would still fit between the living room and dining room where I need to put it to store things. Well, it really is huge and looks exactly as pictured. I've already got it in use and it really does fit a ton of stuff. Also, because it is so big, depending on your use, there is plenty of room to not have this piled high with stuff if you're trying to keep a bit more of an orderly look. I have like 2-3 layers of nonsense in this filling out the circle and from across the room, you can't tell there's as much in it as there is, if that makes sense. So even though this is an open top, it is by far the most clean looking open top basket I own because of the depth. Still cleaning up the house, only done with a few rooms down in my declutter phase, but I'm definitely considering buying another one of these for the den or guest bedroom.Quick Tip on the getting basket to hold it's shape- If you are not going to fill the thing to overflowing, it's going to be a good idea to let this sit for about two days with stuff in it to get the shape to take hold. I just put a large file box inside of it that filled most of the bottom for 2 days and that did the trick even though it didn't reach the very top of this woven basket nor did it fill the entire volume. And it also made it easier to fill with stuff too since I wasn't certain of the order I wanted to have things and I didn't have to keep straightening the falling edges the way I did on the day it first arrived.

I wanted to give an idea of how much space there is in this, as I kinda went in hoping it would be large enough for blanket storage (it is). I currently have 3 throws and 2 king-size blankets inside, most of which are folded, except one of the king-size blankets that my boyfriend has been pulling out to use (and he puts it back, win!!). This is more than large enough for what I wanted it for, and I'm really quite pleased. It did come folded so it was a little misshapen at first, so I just stuffed it with as many blankets as I could, and now that we're using it regularly it's holding its shape nicely.

I cant say anything negative about this basket! I just received it today, took it out of the package, untied the ribbon and pushed it open. In this pic you will see I have 3 lap quilts and one twin quilt. There is plenty of space left for another! The neutral color is perfect and the black on bottom means you wont see the dirt from it sitting on a floor. This is NOT a cheaply made item, it is excellent quality and I may just have to buy more for myself and for gifts!

The design of this basket is aesthetically pleasing, but the execution could use some work. The thread used to sew the top part of the basket is white, not cream, so it doesn't quite match. This is especially apparent in areas where a lot of stitching occurred, like the handles. There are several area on the basket where the stitching is loose or coming unraveled. I would have liked more instructions on how to get the folds out of the basket as well. I've had it sitting up and open for weeks, and the top still has visible bends from the creases. I did get some dirt on the basket from my shoes and it came out pretty easily. This is the perfect size for storing blankets.
