G.I. Joe Retaliation Ninja Combat Cruiser Vehicle with Night Fox Figure

We could not be more disappointed in this junk. Our son had a perfect credit card. He loves GI Joe’s, loves them, so we thought this could be an amazing way to congratulate him. This toy truck is a complete piece of junk. We cannot even move it without it coming apart. It’s absolute junk. Parts fall off, stickers won’t stick on, the doors don’t stay open, you cannot even touch this thing without it falling apart. He put it together since he loves that stuff, and we thought he did it wrong so we unassembled and did it ourselves. It’s such a waste of money and we are so bummed. It’s trash.

A while back i wanted to get a V.A.M.P. for my G.I. Joes. There are plenty available but none at a price I like. Then I stumbled on this little beauty. This a revamped (pun not intended) version of an older model, but instead of the traditional military color scheme this one is done in teal and grey. I personally liked the color on this one better, but it is a little less realistic so it might not be for everyone. The vehicle itself is great and everything I was looking for: a durable vehicle that can carry the whole squad. You can fit five figures inside, and with the handy (again, pun not intended) handrails and foot pegs you can get another two or three figures hanging on the sides. One thing about his model I don't like as much as other models it the launcher on the back. It comes with four bright orange missiles, which are too bright for me to leave in. The firing mechanism doesn't work too great either. However, you can take the launcher mechanism out and have someone standing in that spot shooting. Since this is the same body as a previous V.A.M.P., you could go as far as putting the minigun from that one on here since it has the hole where it would be attached. This one also comes with an antenna and there are about 10 spots to put it in. This is because this vehicle uses a customizable where you can you parts from other vehicles on here. I am a little annoyed by this though because there only option you really have here is where to put the antennae. I wish they had included a couple more pieces to switch out beyond just the launcher, but I have no complaints otherwise. There are a lot of decals to apply which offer some customization options, like the handful of bullet holes you can put anywhere.While the vehicle is awesome, the figure is absolutely horrible. He has almost no articulation and is solid black. He does comes with a nicely detailed vest that appears to be made to fit his body only, which is confusing and frustrating. Why they would go through the time to create such a bad figure is beyond me. Since this is a "Ninja Combat Cruiser", they could have included any old ninja figure they had laying around instead of creating this new Night Fox, who does not appear to be a ninja. The gun he comes with is pretty cool though, so not a total loss in this department. Overall, this package is a great option for someone looking for a V.A.M.P. at a good value. But like most car bargains, this is a stripped down model. It doesn't have any crazy play functions or accessories, but this is a top notch vehicle. Everything is well sculpted right down to the small details, and it even has a working suspension! I have been dreaming of owning a vehicle like this for my G.I. Joes for a while, and I can say that dream is fulfilled by this Combat Cruiser.

The vamp got a cool update in this version. I like the other versions of the vamp mk 2, better, but for the money, I am satisfied with this purchase. I would recommend this item. It seems sturdy enough for rugged play.

The quality of the pieces is just "ok". The pieces snap in almost completely. The "cage" of the truck is what doesn't quite fit. The stickers included had better attention to detail.The figure is crap. The legs move forward and backwards. The arms are molded in a preconfigured way that is in a quality of knock off G.I. Joe's. You know the ones. Just toss the figure and buy real G.I.Joes instead.I wouldn't recommend this to any friend or family member that has a 5yr old that likes Joes. I would get a different vehicle.

only negative thing is one of the doors is kinda loose and its not super solid as far as putting it together, on a scale from 1 to 10 as far as it being solid i'll give it an 8.5 out of 10. overall if you can find this for a decent price then do not hesitate to get it.
