Beast Mode BTU's!
This thing is a BEAST! The assembly was a breeze. The flame is clean (lots of clear and blue, very little to no yellow). If you need to boil water (oil, witches brew, whatever) right now, this is the way to do it. My first wort boil of 7.5 gallons took only minutes to bring to boil, then required a quick turn down to low to continue the boil without boiling over. If anything, this may be overkill......NOT!Nits to pick. Packaging could be better. Shifting during shipping caused a plug of plastic cover/Styrofoam/cardboard to jam into the gas inlet fitting. It was a minor issue to dig it out, but I should not have had to do that.As others have mentioned, do a "burn off" before first use. This thing burns off decals, paint, and anything else near the burner.A solidly built burner pushing out some serious BTU's. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This thing is a BEAST.
Wow! Much better than expected and significantly better than my old "jet" pot boiler in all aspects. It is much more sturdy and stable and puts out an incredible amount of heat. At the price, it is a steal and i'm considering buying a second one. It lost a star due to the fact that the bolt holes for one of the legs were not properly aligned and took some rework to get the leg to sit square and the regulator looks and feels quite cheap.Pros:BTUs, sturdy, strong, can handle a big heavy pot, good flame control, good value.Cons:paint burn-off is really nauseous (see note below), questionable regulator quality (but has worked ok so far so maybe not a con), bolt holes for legs were not not aligned, big and bulky and does not break down easily for storage.Note: paint burn-off. We did a pre-burn to burn off the paint and manufacturing oils. This worked but burn-off was limited to only on the top grate directly above the flame. Once we sat a full pot on the burner, the flame spread and the heat built-up across the entire unit causing all of the paint to burn off. My advise is to do a pre-burn with a pot of water for a good 20 minutes to let all of the paint burn off before you use it for real.

Heavy duty - Difficult to assemble
My unit arrived in a damaged box - The unit definitely was poorly packed and was missing the all of the nuts/bolts to assemble it. The manufacturer was good about sending me the missing stuff quickly. Assembling the unit was a real PITA - I had to drill out some bolt holes as the ones provided did not line up properly. One finally assembled, I found that the burner was awesome and generated an incredible amount of very controllable heat that heated up a very large pot of water to cook crawfish, shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes for a fun fest. Bottom line - If you receive a kit that is messed up to begin with, save yourself allot of time and aggravation by returning it for an exchange.

This Item Cannot Be Returned
Item appears well designed and constructed. I made the mistake of ordering a propane burner that was larger than expected. I then discovered the item is not returnable, even if in new and unused condition like mine is. Lesson learned.

Outstanding burner for preparing a clambake
I just used the Banjo 16" burner to cook a clambake for 35 people. It got a large pot (80 quarts) filled with water, clams, chicken, sweet corn, and sweet potatoes up to a boil in no time. The pot was quite heavy but the Banjo handled it with ease. All-in-all it worked much better than the jet burner we used previously. The only small drawback is it that it is difficult to see flame levels on the burner when it is covered by a large pot (at least we couldn't figure it out). I ended up adjusting the flame largely by feel. That small issue notwithstanding, I highly recommend this burner. It has an excellent price point compared to other similar products and absolutely works as advertised.
