The Three Billy Goats Gruff: 8 (Lift-the-Flap Fairy Tales, 8)

This is copied from a review I have done from another book in this range as my comments apply to all: My 3 year old has 3 books in this range and she loves them all. The fact that it's both a pop up book and has a CD with it is a double tick for me. Perfect for car journeys. The rhymes are quite fun and witty and a modern take on the traditional stories. I've had all sorts of kids audio books before and to be honest, the kids have always lost interest in them as I find they are not often read in an engaging way. These are and I would highly recommend them. The books are still great on their own, without the CD but for me, the CD makes car journeys with excitable children slightly more bearable (and peaceful!).

This is a fantastic modern version of the traditional story and is probably my child's most read book. The story is comical and rhymes. What more can you ask for?

A wonderful book and cd used to engage many readers/non-readers aged between 2 and 7

My 2 year old enjoyed the book but not as good as the others in the series. Not the usual story lines such as "who's that trip trapping over my bridge" and not much interesting under the flaps. Jack and the beanstalk, the three little pigs and goldilocks are better.

Great book, great condition, loved all the goat meal options in the 'lift the flap' section. Children & adults really enjoyed it.

Bought for work purposes the children love it! It is a fab billy goats story!

Grandson loved this book. More importantly, I enjoy reading Nick Sharratt books! Just the right length for bedtime story.

An excellent re-telling of a favourite tale and already a firm favourite with my 3 yr old grandson.

My class enjoyed the illustrations and I enjoyed the different dialect... Southern Cal kids need to hear different ways of dialogue in a classic story.

Good story. Book has a few flaps ripped out.

This is one of my many books that I love reading to my preschool class, and it's a book that they love to hear over and over again.Thank you!

My toddler absolutely loves this book and also the cd read along that comes with it.
