We use a harness on our dog in the car (for attaching his seatbelt) but have always found that harnesses encourage ‘sledge dog’ behaviour, as the dog can throw his whole weight into it.I bought this as we needed a new car harness and didn’t really expect to use it for dog walks. WRONG!From first attaching the lead to the front ring it was a complete game changer. Milo is much more under control and seems happier and less nervy around other dogs as a result.He is always happy to put it on and it seems comfortable for him.My only advice (beyond Buy This) is be careful about sizing. I thought our boy was between M and L from measuring him so sent for L. However, I am using the harness let out almost to full capacity. Might just be the one we received - I did check the little tag and yes, it says L. Glad I didn’t choose M.Off now for a hassle free walk!

Used as walking harness for Greyhound, seems very secure, works very well, handle is useful if there is a cat in view. Slightly awkward to put on.

The first was when he was 10 months old and I bought a Large, it immediately improved him on a lead using the chest fixing, straps were at their max stretch, anyhow the little horror chewed it up so have now gone for the XL which is plenty big enough for a large 6 stone (38kg) labrador; my slight concern is that we now have flapping staps as he's now at the smaller end of the XL version.Cannot knock the price - fab value. Noticed the blue was £2 cheaper, but I quite like the forest green.

I wanted to write a review for this harness as it has been a lifesaver for my dog. I have an 8 year old cocker spaniel who has previously had a Julius harness. This harness was great however despite it being the correct size, it rubbed on his joints causing a scab which looked uncomfortable and obviously prevented him from having his walk!I searched constantly for a few says to try and find a harness that did not sit directly on the joint of the legs. After a number of searches and traipsing through photos Amazon reviewers had put on of their dogs I found this harness. It is a lot lighter weight than a Julius and does not sit in the same position as the Julius harness thus does not cause any rubbing or irritation on my dogs joints when walking.Thank you Rabitgoo! I would definitely recommend.

My own fault as I purchased the wrong size.I have a working cocker spaniel and her measurements were borderline small to medium so I ordered the medium. This was a mistake; because it is too big the straps flap about and the harness is too lose when you use the front lead point. I purchased this because of the non pull reviews but if you get the wrong size and it doesn’t fit tightly it is uncomfortable for your pooch.The concept is good but you really need to own a dog that fits the harness! Having said all that using a front ring did reduce her pulling so if you can get it right I think it would work. The harness is sturdy and will work fine if you are lucky enough to own a dog that doesn’t pull.I am hoping that I can return it.

OK, like many others, I have a young pup (6months) who pulls like a Train... I had my first Lab in 1999, and don't remember any of this palaver! Obviously, dog ownership has moved on...I loved the look of this harness. I wanted it as a training aid, and to give some security, whilst he was still in the growing stages. Walking on a loose slip lead? Ideal if you are in open country; but near busy roads, when he decides to his impression of ' a Salmon on a line' I need to know I have him securely.This harness failed just 30 mins ago...lead on the front 'D' ring(plastic), approaching a pelican crossing, and the main b****y clip (plastic, again) came undone. For whatever reason, I don't care. I am an Adult. I fitted the harness correctly. This was only it's second outing of around 30 minutes. Of course, it ignored all the safe areas to unfasten, but waited until we approached a busy 'A' Road.In MY very limited experience of this harness...it cannot be trusted with your dogs. If I could give it minus stars, I would...because I could have lost my dog to traffic on the main road today.(I partly want a harness that can give some protection against rogue dog attacks, if anyone can recommend?)To add injury to insult, I can't return it, as aforementioned youngster is keen to open anything delivered to house, so no longer have original packaging!Hey ho.

This is a really well made harness, best one I have purchased. I have the Same harness for my other dog too.I have 2 very strong big dogs and these are great for them, I especially like the no pull ring at front of harness , it really works which is great for me as I have health issues but love to take my dogs out so use this ring to keep them under control.I would recommend this harness.

We’ve used Rabbitgoo harnesses with our dog with no issues but this upgraded version is terrible. The bungee straps broke after 2 days and so the straps are now too long as you can’t tighten them far enough. It’s not as easy to adjust to fit properly anyway and twists round if not using both leash hooks at the same time. Terrible harness.

One of the best harnesses i have used. Flexible sizing to fit most bigger dogs, strong durable big handle and well fastened both back and front rings

This is an excellent harness. It is easy to put on the dog, fully adjustable, well made, and reasonably priced for such great quality. I use it to clip my dog in the back seat by running a webbed strap from a floor tie down in the hatch, between the headrest and the top of the back seat to the metal ring on the top of the harness. I use a locking caribeeners on the webbing and to the ring on the harness. If your dog turns around a lot then use a swivel caribeener . Kurgo makes a very good one.

This harness is so durable and strong. I only have a 28 pound dog but this harness is much more stronger then any I have bought in the past. Very happy with this product.
