Very soft but unravels and tangles easily
This is the 3rd time I’ve bought the hair and it’s my favorite braiding hair. It’s very soft but that makes it easier for it to tangle, so braiding with it is difficult initially. After about two or three weeks I get knots in the hair, but I prevent them by brushing the ends every morning and using a scarf and bonnet at night after tying the hair up in a loose bun.The best way I’ve prevented the unraveling is by tying knots near the ends and using heat from a blow dryer to seal the knots, but that takes foreverrrr. Normally I feel lazy and just leave the ends without tying knots, but it have to rebraid some sections every day because of that.Putting it in a bun and bonnet at night also helps with maintaining the curls. I tried putting mousse in it the first two times I braided it, but it got knotted very easily when I did that, but it may have been the mousse I used, which was the Camille Rose spiked honey mousse. I also cut layers after I finished braiding it, but the ends of the parts I cut have less of a curl.Overall it’s very nice and soft and it looks very nice too, but I wouldn’t keep it in longer than 3 or 4 weeks because of the knots and tangles because it will still end up very knotted and tangled no matter how much you take care of it.

yeahhh but ughhh
in the end, it’s really nice. doesn’t itch and isn’t uncomfortable, but it’s VERY DIFFICULT to deal with when it’s time to braid….

Tangled a lot but was very pretty
My sister loved this braiding hair but it did tangle a lot when I was trying to braid it into her hair.

Amir Hair 8 packs French Curly Braiding Hair
I surprisingly liked this hair! When my daughter asked for French braids I had no idea what they were or what hair to use. Someone on Etsy used this hair so I decided to get it. At first glance I thought it was going to be a disaster and be like doll hair but boy was I wrong! After I made my purchase the seller sent Hair care/use instructions. I highly recommend you follow them. Once I received my hair it was very soft. It came with 8 packs of hair, a free crochet needle as well as hair jewelry. Surprisingly there were 2 bundles in each pack of hair! The hair was soft. Before separating I sprayed with leave in conditioner and combed/brushed the conditioner through starting at the bottom of the hair; working my way up. The hair was easy to separate using this method. The hair is easy to install but it does slide so if you like to oil the scalp I recommend doing this after the install to prevent slippage. I also went back through with leave in conditioner after the install and brushed it throughout the hair. I prefer using a paddle brush, but you can also use a detangling brush or even a rat tail comb. I used all of these throughout the process because I could not find my paddle brush starting out and they all worked fine. While working with this hair if u come across and tangling or knotting in a single braid, I do recommend taking a few seconds to pick it out. I used a metal tipped comb for this. I also recommend detangling small sections (5-10 braids) at a time with a paddle brush for daily maintenance. That few seconds of patience will save u a few/several minutes if you decide to rush through. If you do come across a knot that will not comb or brush out just brush it to the end of the hair and take some scissors and clip it. Clipping the ends will not affect the curl pattern. For maintenance I recommend using a satin braid cap for protection so the hair can lay flat without bunching but if you do not have 1 a satin bonnet is fine you just may have to detangle a little bit more. I feel like less manipulation is best to prevent tangling but if you’re the type that likes to style your braids this hair allows you to do so and don’t worry if it tangles it’s easy to untangle and bounces back well. I’m not a fan of re-using hair and the hair is priced to where I would not mind re-purchasing for each use but if you are someone who re-uses hair the quality of this hair, if maintained properly, does allow you to be able to reuse it. The seller does provide how to wash hair with hair care/use insurrections. The amount of hair provided is more than enough for your install. I ended up using 6.5 bags so I had hair left over. I definitely recommend this hair for French braids and wouldn’t mind re-purchasing if I were to do these again

love!!
i actually love this hair soo much! it’s so silly and pretty. my stylist worked with it so well and loved the hair too!! it’s easy to part and separate and very easy to braid with. to me it does tangle just a little, but nothing some water and oil in a spray bottle and finger comb through won’t fix! you can also get curlers and wrap them within ur bonnet and sleep like that for the night to maintain curls. the curls are bouncy and soo soft :) the hair is soo beautiful and i get many compliments already! my hair stylist only used 6.5/8 of the packs that came, so 8 packs is definitely more than enough for your head, would 100% recommend!!!

I wouldn't suggest it
The quality of the hair is horrible, while it looks fine despite being glossy (it's synthetic so not much to expect), but it tangles horribly and it's chunks of hair that you have to put out from the braids because that's how bad it tangles and knots up. On top of that it smelt like a burnt flat iron when I got it, and the color is different from the orignal picture. Will not be purchasing ever again.
