I only whitened two canines, as the difference with the four front teeth was too big. For a few months, I applied the gel every night before going to bed (just once a day). And the difference became noticeable! I am happy and now I can smile freely. The result is great. I love it.I bought 0.63oz (18g) Crest whitening emulsions (not a pen with built-in applicator).I just towel dried my teeth, applied the gel and went to bed. I didn't use the flexible applicator wand, as it's more comfortable and faster to do it with my finger (on two teeth).I am not sure how safe it is if we swallow some of the gel, because it contains petrolatum..

My teeth were pretty white to begin with but after 5 applications, I’d say they are a shade (maybe 2) lighter. Manage your expectations as this product is gentler than the strips, hence reduced (if any) tooth sensitivity. That was a major benefit- I’ve experienced pain (especially on my lower teeth) after prolonged use of strips and there is none of that with the emulsions. I’m happy to trade a longer treatment period for quick and painful so this product is for the patient! The secret to correct application is:1. Brush (and floss, ideally) well.2. Bare your teeth (think Grrrrr!) and jut your bottom jaw out slightly, now suck back excess saliva and swallow hard.3. Quickly use a clean wash cloth to swipe your bottom teeth and apply product starting at the bottom near gums (this is where the saliva pools first).4. Now breathe through your mouth with your head tipped back to keep saliva off the bottom teeth application, swallowing as necessary.5. Now swipe top teeth with washcloth and apply product- don’t forget to get the spaces between teeth! Use a generous amount for even coverage.6. Continue to bare feet and mouth-breathe for a good 30 second count before closing your lips over your teeth. WIPE OFF APPLICATOR TIP WITH A SQUARE OF TOILET PAPER SO ITS NOT CRUSTY AT NEXT USE!7. Don’t eat, drink, smoke etc for an hour minimum... I do this before I go to bed for max benefit. Tip: Brush again to remove product before eating or drinking. I’ve had morning coffee before brushing and felt like it sucked up the stain so brush first and consume with a ‘clean palate’.Hope this helps maximize your experience as it is rather expensive, especially to waste. Usually, these comes with the whitening strips back, but when the paste ran out, I just wanted to purchase the paste itself rather than the entire kit. So much easier in that way to save money and leftovers...

I didn't see a difference.......

Item came in a plastic bag. No carton even through the tube says follow directions on the carton.

I drink way too much coffee so I have to stay on top of whitening. I was a previous white strip user, have bleach and trays from my dentist, and have purchased the off brand whitening gels with good reviews on Amazon. I’ve only been using this for a few days, but I am super impressed! I have noticed a HUGE difference in the 3 days I’ve been using it (as a “bleacher”, noticing a big difference doesn’t happen often!). The gel applies easily and stays on teeth apparently, after a few minutes it does kind of go away and you don’t even know it’s there working. So much more convenient than white strips or trays because you apply and forget- no removing or anything. White strips will be going in the trash or back of my drawer because this is my new top product. Price point- high for sure. But to notice as much of a difference like I did, it’s worth it to me because I won’t have to bleach as often.

I was drawn to this product because they claimed “there is virtually no sensitivity”. I used this once a day (which is well below their up to 4x a day limit) with their Crest LED light, and my teeth get brighter. But then a week later, I started getting intense pain in the front teeth. I had just been to the dentist the month before and everything was fine. I went back to the dentist and did an x-ray; they couldn’t find any cracks, but I continued to have intense pain. The dentist recommended that I use remineralizing toothpaste and watch it. For the next month, I’d experience intermittent but intense pain, which made me seriously consider just pulling my front teeth. The pain eventually went away after a month of switching to ultra velvet soft bristle toothbrush and using NovaMin toothpaste along with fluoride treatments, but it was a rough couple of months. The pain also still comes back every now and then.I gave it 2 stars since it did make my teeth whiter, but it’s absolutely not worth the pain I went through, and their “virtually no sensitivity” is absolutely false.
