These cups are the best cups I have found in the 67 years I've been around. They fit three fingers through the handle and my thumb rests comfortably on top. The angle of the cup keeps fluids from swishing side to side and accidental spills. The main reason I'm writing is because the first one I got had a little bubble in the handle and I got the cup close to a year ago and I just contacted them about it when I got my last one. They are sending me a new cup. I am so appreciative of a company with 1st class customer service. To me, it's just as important as the product itself. 5 Stars! And I would recommend these cups to anyone who loves a hot cup of coffee in the AM.

UPDATED: Upgraded from 3 to 5 stars after exchanging the mug, the replacement is 5 stars perfect in ever way and it has arrived the next day. We own now 3 of these mugs, all fantastic in every way. They are so harmonious, they remind of Kon Marie inspirational videos :)As a hyper-non-minimalist, I found this dot of simplicity perfect for my kitchen. And the family loves it too!The shipping back for replacement was free and no box was required, we just dropped it by UPS, they packed (with Prime).The perfect replacement has arrived immediately, not even 24 hours has passed.Two other identical mugs ordered from the same company were flawless to start with.------------------------The original review was 3 stars as follows:mix-use, mix-impressions: 5 stars design, 1 star workmanship, 3 stars porcelainWe'll keep it as a dry-erase marker holder. I bought it to see if it can be written on with a dry erase marker and erased without "ghosting": the answer is YES, both on the matte outside and on the gloss inside. But it cannot be gifted because there are numerous flows in its finishing:a dark scratch on the front, small bubbles and a large "spill looking" streak on the surface. The design is above 5 stars: a unique and subtly captivating shape, understated but memorable, an innovative holder, a tasteful adaptation of "glossy inside, matte outside" trend (the line separating the two finishes on the top of the cup is not annoying at all, which is usually hard to achieve). I'd gladly pay more if the quality were be a par with the design.As a giftable tea cup, would be wonderful IF the quality were improved: keeps the temperature, pleasant to cup in one's hands. For this price, it will be a marker holder.Maybe we will get another to envelope a small pots with a succulent (with marble chips on top of the soil and dry erase labeling possibilities, it would be an ideal use for this cup).UPDATE: the second mug ordered was packed in a factory white box and had a flawless finish, none of the problems the first mug had. The first mug was not in a factory box and probably has been used. The second one which came from the factory is perfect. So you ill get, mysteriously, either a 3 stars or 5 stars product, at random :). The design itself is top-notch!

UPDATE: This company read my review and responded by replacing both mugs! Now that is excellent customer service! I have had the mugs for six months, and so far, no problems with the handles. I have to admit I was a bit fearful of holding them by the handle with a full cup of hot coffee. Whether it was just a bad lot last time, or shipping that may have weakened the handle, I can't tell you. However, the two I have now are holding up well, so I am changing my rating to five starts. I guess the third time was the charm.This color of this mug is beautiful, so even though the handle broke last time, I bought it again, thinking it was something I had done.Well, I’ve only had this one for a month, and it has happened again. For the price of this mug, it should be much sturdier. Do not buy.

In general, we love these mugs! The weight, size, style, shape, price, & quality (mostly) is great. The color doesn't fade, they don't chip, & they don't stain. But, two out of six of our initial mugs had handle problems: one cracked at the joint and another broke off at the joint. They were "unprovoked" damages through no fault of ours. Although I was disappointed, I bought three more... We liked these enough to try again. Maybe it was just that batch? ...No new breaks, so far. Yay! The vibrant colors make me happy. We have the blue mugs with mint colored interior. All of the adults in our household appreciate these. (That's a miracle on its own!)

Beautiful mug. The color isn't as vibrant as seen, but the color is still excellent.This was a gift and the person was pleased, commenting on the agreeableness of the handle. I'm glad I bought it.

I bought this mug as a gift for a friend…and I ended up buying one for myself, too. LolIt’s a beautiful color and so well crafted. I enjoy drinking from it.

This is a curved dark blue coffee cup with pale green inside. It is a nice size and even with coffee in it the color combination is pleasing.After I feed my cat each morning, I have a cup of coffee; then I leave the cup clean on my coffeemaker. I don't know why but cheers me to see the cat and the cup ready and waiting every morning.
