Eucerin Sun Allergy Protection Creme-Gel Spf50 by Eucerin

The cream seems to do the job OK - although I haven't had the chance to compare with other products. The one REALLY important thing to know though (which I didn't) is that the cream is yellow and stains clothes badly. One blouse I had on when I had applied the cream has been washed several times and the staining has never come out. I doubt that I would use this product again because of that. It should carry a warning on the tube.

I have suffered from a sun allergy (PMLE) for 10 years now. The majority of my outbreaks on my feet, hands and knees. I have just spent 2 weeks in the Canary Islands and 28 degree heat, and I only had a very small outbreak on my arm. This product stopped 98% of my symptoms. I was rigid with its use and made sure I always had some on before entering the sun. This product now means I can start enjoying being outside again.

This is the only sun cream I will use on myself and my child. It’s hypoallergenic and both UVA and UVB protection. I’ve tried Nivea/Garnier/Soltan etc. before, but still reacted with sun induce eczema. Dermatologist recommended this a few years ago, I was apprehensive at first as it’s pricey and I wasn’t convinced it would work/be worth the money - I was wrong! I’ve never used any other brand since. It’s the best sun lotion on the market. I’ll never switch.

Sadly for me this cream still makes my eczema rash completely flare up and itch. Not especially this cream’s fault, just one of many that I’ve tried and am still searching … so if you do suffer, be aware that this may cause a reaction. It did rub in well however! Good luck!

Started getting PLE in my 20's and as anybody who suffers with it will know it can be horrendous. Just spent a week in Tenerife, very lazy holiday sat by the pool sunbathing everyday, and used this Eucerin allergy cream for the first time and it works! I did have some mild itching on my shins but nothing like a full blown eruption. Highly recommended.
