Bought 2 of these for my back patio table and they can light most of it. These are fairly bright for solar lights but still not as bright as I'd like. 4 would probably get the job done but I'm not willing to fill the table with these so I'll likely add something else on the perimeter to help.

These are both useful and cute and I'm impressed with the amount of light they provide. The only drawback was that I couldn't tell whether the lamp was in the "on" or "off" position when I was first charging the solar battery. The push button is supposed to be higher or lower depending on whether it was "on" or "off". I just experimented with them over a couple of night to determine when they were "on" so that they were charging. Now that I know, I just leave them in the "on" position all the time. Perfect size to light up my patio.

Used two of these to illuminate the pathway to our new storage building. They really made a striking difference. I am not sure how well they are holding up, though. I just went to check on them now (about three hours after sunset) and they are barely glowing. We have had them a couple of months. It was a very sunny day today, so I would have thought that maybe they would have stayed a little brighter. Beautiful when first used, though! Maybe they need new batteries.

This is the brightest solar light I've found and are very durable. They come in a package of two and so far I've ordered 4 sets within the past 2 years. I only had a problem with one set that I bought recently; one of the lights in the set didn't work. I replaced the battery but this still didn't help. Amazon and this company were very decent about replacing this set. A new package came today and they both lit up perfectly right out of the box. Thank you. Worth the money.

This is our 2nd purchase of these solar lights. We bought a set for our Pelican statues for our pool area when the originals bit the dust. One of the original lights is still barely working and another set we bought from another supplier also bit the dust shortly after buying them. So those two remaining lights are now sitting on the pavement. These look so much better and they attached to our statues without any issues.They're so much brighter, that we bought two more sets to hand around our pool.These are great!******UPDATE*******Well, we were all set to buy 2 more sets when the lights stopped lasting more than a few hours. It's taken some investigation and trial and error, but I have found the problem. When you first get these and place the batteries in them, the lights last until morning. Then the next day you'll come out in the morning when it's dark, and they're out. After about a 5 days or so, the lights last no more than 2-3 hours.I thought that maybe it was the batteries, so we replaced the batteries with new solar rechargeable batteries. Again, the first night they came on very bright and the next morning they were still on. Then the next morning they were out so I checked on them and again, each day the lights lasted less and less time. They now last 2-3 hours.They're so sharp looking so I decided to spend a little time in figuring out why they weren't lasting as long. On a hunch, I turned the lights off when it came time for them to come on. The next day they recharged some more and we turned them back on. This time the lights came on and lasted 4-5 hours. It appears that the lights don't have a big enough solar charger plate on top of them to charge the batteries enough to hold a charge more than a few hours. The solution is to leave the switches off until you're ready for them to shine. We're currently flipping them off and going to see how long they'll last if they're off all week.Not sure I will buy any more until I see what we get for this last test. At $22 a pop, I've already invested over $66 in these and was hoping they'd last at least 4-6 hours.

Perfect size for my front pathway to porch

I put these on small tables on a deck in my back yard. They certainly don't illuminate the whole deck but they do provide a pleasing and atmospheric light that extends far enough to be attractive and practical. They actually stay lit until dawn! They are extremely light and with the right hardware would be easy to hang. I would just be concerned about how well they would work unless they are in direct sunlight. Ours get plenty of direct sunlight and we are very happy with them. Would recommend for aesthetic effect but not where bright light is needed in a large space. Would probably be fine for camping and in a tent.Addendum: One small problem that will need a solution. Lanterns are extremely light weight. We noticed after a big squall that one of the lanterns had blown off the table and we found it on the ground. It still works fine, however. Will need to build on a bigger base to make it more stable, or somehow add weight to it. Shouldn't be too difficult. Still happy with the purchase.ADDENDUM: Purchased in Sept. 2021. Follow up review Nov. 10th. These lanterns just stopped lighting up at night a few nights ago. Just something that looked like an ember illuminated, but that was it. Unfortunately I was more than a month past the allowable return date, but had a remarkable experience with a phone support guy who made an exception and allowed me to return the lanterns for a full refund!! The "morals" of the story are 1) don't buy this lantern, 2) continue to buy from Amazon. I would rather support local businesses but somethings are just hard (0r impossible) to find. and 3) if you want to buy something like this, spend more money and buy something with a one year warrantee.
