Women's Launch 8 Neutral Running Shoe

These it fine but they don't feel like the other Brooks I've purchased for quality and comfort. I have flatter arches and the arch support on these was poor, they seem less well made and overall just not as good as the previous Launch series shoes. I would not recommend.

Brooks have become my go to brand. I exercise 4-5 times a week, and have planter's fasciitis and I don't even need to wear my orthotics anymore. They have great support, and look good!

All I can say is once you start wearing these (Brooks) it will be like (Nike What?)...

I've been running in a pair of Brooks Launch 6 shoes for the past couple years and was excited to try the Launch 8s as it was time to replace mine. I was cautiously optimistic after reading reviews stating they are not as great as past Launch models, but I'm sad to report those reviews are true. Not to say these shoes couldn't work perfectly for someone else, but they are not the same as the shoes I fell in love with. The Launch 8s felt narrower in the toe box (I have medium width feet) and generally less comfortable than my old pair. I also ordered a pair of Ghost 14s and ended up keeping those as I liked the slight cushiness, support and toe box room they offered. It did take a few runs to adapt to them but I'm in love again. Size-wise, these shoes fit slightly small like all Brooks I've tried on, so I went up half a size from 8.5 to 9. I'll miss my Launch 6s but am glad I found a different Brooks model that works for me.

I have worn Brooks shoes for many many years. I have a job that requires me to be on my feet 95 percent of the time. I lived in Brooks shoes. I told everyone I knew that Brooks was the best shoe on the market especially for problem feet. NOT ANY MORE. I have tried many many different styles of the Brooks shoe line and they are all crap. I don't know what or why the company would make such a big change to their shoes but they don't work for me at all. I have problems with my feet and after my first shift at work I could barely walk I was in so much pain. Very disappointed.

First, anyone who buys Brooks knows shoes are nothing w/o good Brooks thick laces. Every pair I've had recently has them, Ghost, Adrenaline, Launch, Ravenna. But these have cheap thin laces. There is a cushiony feel but I wear two Spenos and orthotics so I have cushion. The weight of the shoe is very light, just not firm or heavy duty. I would guess it would break down in no time since there's nothing substantive to break down. Cheap shoe in comparison to other Brooks shoes. Right now Brooks needs to stick to quality, not get cheap when other unknown manufacturers are competing w cheap light weight shoes.

I bought this show based on the quiz I tood through Brooks website and then searched for the shoe on Amazon. Found this color and thought yes, I will get this. I love it! It is super light and fit just as expected. I felt like I didn't have a shoe on dragging as it was so light. The cushion is squishy like the sight said it would be on the quiz for this particular shoe. I needed a new walking shoe where I would graduate into running as I am a fast walker. This the shoe. It is not a tight fit in the toe box. I got a size bigger as always since I am a 9 shoe I typically get a 10 or 10.5 as my feet tend to swell when I run or walk for a prolonged time such as 45 minutes or longer. This was a good shoe for my swelling feet for the first walk on 1.5 for the break in walk and then the continuous walks thereafter. Glad I got this shoe!

Very comfortable and good design! Delivery was also very punctual actually 1 day earlier than estimated delivery day.But I ordered size 5 but received 5.5. Luckily it didn’t feel so big so I took it rather than return. So it is 4 star out of 5.

Amazing pair of shoes, my only gripe is that Amazon sent me the wrong size!
