Q: How do you add a switch to the center console panel?

I purchased the wireless remote kit. Mounted the base at helm. You can pop it out of the holder and use it anywhere around the boat. 1st you will move the winch cover and then replace the wired controller behind the rope spool with the new controller. The wiring is all preset to unplug the old unit and plug in the new unit. Anyone should have no issues replacing the controller. My kit had both the remote and controller. Cost about $51 to $75. There is also a wired version cheaper but not a versatile as the wireless unit.

Price of junk switch keeps breaking line gets rapped around wheel when letting line out and when you pull it up
