DSTE BL-3 Battery Chamber Cover Compatible with Nikon EN-EL4 EN-EL4a Li-ion Battery D300 D300S D700 D900 Camera MB-D10 MB-40 Grip

For powering the D700's battery grip with the D3s' EN-EL4 battery. The fit is perfect. The lever that secures the battery to the cover is slightly different than the one on the D3s (which I assume is OEM). It isn't better or worse, just different; a little smaller and black. I guess it could be hard to figure out for those trying these batteries for the first time.I feel like I'm the only one in the world going back to 12MP bodies, but if anyone else is out there (Helloooooo!) it works.

Works perfectly with Nikon MB-D10 battery grips on my D700s. My only niggle is that the battery release is a bit loose and often slips into the closed position when changing/inserting batteries, and won't engage with battery or insert fully until that the release is flipped back to open position. Annoying step when working on the fly. But once fully inserted and closed, it works perfectly. Build quality & fit appear/feel same as Nikon's version. Overall a good buy.

If you want to use a Nikon EN-EL4 or EN-EL4A battery in your Nikon MB-D10 battery grip this is the cover you need! It fits and functions exactly as intended, no problems!

In my mind, I was saving over $20, in reality, I spent $10 more, why? Well, the little lever/switch for opening and securing it to the battery grip broke. That happened only one month after i bought it, which coincided with the first time I took out the battery to charge it. At the time I write this review, this product is not available, something I do not know will change. That said, eat the cost and buy the OEM, I ended up spending, all in, about $50 to save $25.

Same quality as aftermarket battery grips you would buy from Vello or other such manufacturer. Fits aftermarket grip just fine. everything works

Never had an original Nikon cover, but decided to finally get an En-EL4 for my D300 as I was getting tired of the phantom battery power loss issue associated with running 8 AA batteries. Wish I'd done it years ago.Anyhow, this cover works perfectly. Please note, without the battery installed, it is a bit floppy in the grip. However, once the batter is installed, it is as firm as my factory 8AA tray latch.

Not a Nikon product and the quality is not as good as Nikon's but it works and does what it is supposed to... at one heck of a cost savings.

The product work like my original Nikon cover at half the price. I use it on a second battery as I shoot a lot of rapid fire shots with my camera to get the shots you would only get by pure luck. allows changing battery in seconds instead of minutes taking cover off 1 battery and replacing on new battery. Works as it is suppose to.
