For the price I expected it to be 20kg

It’s a great bar for the price but it does not have any bearing so keep that in mind

Bought this as it was cheaper than other Olympic bars. The only reason I’ve given 4 & not 5 stars is that I haven’t pushed or abused the bar. So I can’t talk about how it performs with heavy weights or if you drop in multiple times on the floor. But for me it’s fine

this is not one of the low end bars you can get out there, this is a real sturdy 20kg 7ft metal barbell bar that can and does hold the weight needed for a real work out.it comes with a pair of clips that you would expect to be able to slip off, however they have a nice firm grip on the bar due to a ridge pattern on the outer bar, this holds them in place nicely and makes it fully adjustable. Then there is the thinner part of the bar designed to be to lifting spot, this also has an etched pattern on there however it's a much more comfortable diamond grip where your hands need to be as well as a couple of shorter smooth patches for comfort.It really is a case of designed for purpose, that's all it does, but it does it well.

The delivery guy my end didn't deliver, not sure why, after I contacted the seller it was all sorted for me. Great value and great to be working out again!!

Got heights for cheap when local gym closed down, and needed a bar. Got this one. Came in well packed , no dents considering it’s quite long and heavy parcel.Side holders works with squeeze release mechanism, easy to put and remove weights from main bar.Bar as usual side cross cut to give better grip on areas where usually hold, ideal for narrow and wide grip.It has also internal hardened support so should Handle extra heavy weights as well.Overall quite happy with quality just need to find time to work with it.

I have bought this bar to go in my garage gym that I am putting together. It arrived quickly and well packaged.The bar is a lovely shiny steel with nice grips at good distances. The bar is pretty simple to use with the spring lock system and it holds my concrete weight plates very nicely.Overall this is a very very good quality barbell that is weighted to 20KG. I really like the look and feel of this barbell and it will stay in my gym for many years to come.

Whilst the packing was poor (partly damaged) the bar itself arrived intact. It seems to be a durable good quality 7ft steel bar with nice knurling at a reasonable price. I’ve used it for bench press, deadlift, Olympic lifting and power lifting. Apparently it can hold up to about 450kg which I haven’t been able to try out yet. It’s worth noting that it weighs 15kg not 20kg and it’s adequate for me now although I’ll probably need an upgrade after some time.
