It's been a while since any Amazon product has managed to arrive on time, or be the right item, or not be broken, or just live up to expectations. Ok. Done whining: this item, despite threatening not to arrive on time, is way past any expectation I had of how good it would serve it's purpose. After aging as long as I have, sitting at a desk/kitechne table in regular chair is beginning to give me back compaints ( I know, unconsious slouch)...so I thought to try finding an alternative for my laptop-with-mouse, that would serve as well in therapy....ie, my recliner. I looked at a lot of "desk" stuff, and this was one of the few that filled the bill entirely.....no "legs", spidery contraptions, no offhand "side stanchions to the floor, adjustable tilt to accommodate variety of "easy chair" position selections, AND.....a detachable mouse pad that will hook up left or right (Carpal T led me to switch hands years ago.) I know touchpad, touch screen....no thanks. It's not a phone, it's a computer, and my mousing is far more advanced than any mulit-gesture pad or screen will ever be (for me)....so the mousepad platform/sapce was mandatory. When I found out the little internally mounted USB powered fan was ALSO "auto-on/auto-off, and that there was neither too much or too little BUILT IN USB cord, it was a bonus. The tilt adjustment is well engineered, the padded cushion underneath keeps the whole rig comfortable on lap, knees, chair arm or your ankles if you wish. It provides exactly the right degree of solid anchoring (so typing mousing do no cause wiggle-wrong keying) yet seamlessly adjusts to whatever squirming you need to do t make room for the pets, your coffee cup (no, there is not an actual cup holder....next version....a clip on like the mouse pad to put on the opposite of mouse pad/table for your beverage). It is PRECISELY the correct size for it all to fit comfortably between the arm bolsters of ANY full sized recliner. Mine is rock/spin/lay flat, so I'm expecting to maneuver without knocking stuff all over, spilling popcorn, etc. Your laptop is noisier than the lap pad fan, which is actually engineered right sized, right speed, right threshold, inaudibly....but definitely cooling the underside of your machinery...silently. The only complaint, though the fan, shelf, slide stopper (removable so it won't get in the way of keyboard in "flattop" position) weight and strength are all well executed....it's plastic. Think "thin-obviously plastic"...nice techy colors gray/black etc and various textures....but you just can't help but think "it's great....wish it didn't look like a cheap plastic tray with padding." You epicures (look it up) WILL think that, if you like quality "craftmanship"/appearance in your better accessories. You will quickly forget it, however, whether you settle in to binge watch streaming, or write the next Declaration of Independence, or just stay in touch with your peeps......it folds up completely, neatly, securely, with no hint of flimsiness (which as soon as you see it, you will expect) and stores its few detachable bits inside itelf when returned to carry/stored modes. You will like it enough that if you have to thoss some other treasured bit of carry-on junk out of you flight gear bag to make room for it.....you probably will, without ever looking back. Enjoy. No boomers or gen A-Z, or other humanoids were harmed in writing this review. OK. Maybe your ears are bleeding or you're drifting in and out of consciousness...

Perfect for my needs. I’m a full time student, working single mother and nurse with back pain. Majority of my online studying is accomplished on my couch as I lay on my heating pad. I have been searching for a laptop cushion that would accommodate my hours of studying while I’m either in bed or on the couch. The size is perfect for my 17 “ laptop. The pillow cushion is comfortable and the platform is adjustable to various angles quite easily. I would have preferred a slide out mousepad, but being that it is meant to be for right or left handed users, I can understand the reason for the pull out mousepad. It’s easily removed and stored neatly inside the compartment. My only complaint is the USB cable meant for the fan area just dangles everywhere and I always have to tuck it inside to make sure it doesn’t get caught. That’s the annoying part about it. But aside from that, I love this purchase and use it frequently. So far, so good!

This is my first laptop pad/stand and I'm really satisfied with it for my 14 inch laptop. It is very comfortable and I love how sturdy it is sitting on my lap. Also the stand is simple and effective for getting the device in an optimal angle for view. The mouse pad gets the job done and is in a great position relative to my laptop without feeling awkward. The only thing I noticed is the fan cord got in the way a bit with my mouse so I had to do some little adjustments with the cable but its only due to the placement of usb ports on my own personal laptop, so its barely an inconvenience. As for the fan itself I didn't see a noticeable difference in temperature but having a fan at all is still a big plus imo. All in all I would definitely recommend this for laptop users

I love this lap desk. I have tried a few and this one isn't perfect for my needs, but it fills them better than the others. I did not need the lights on the desk since my Lenovo Legion Pro has lights already. This one has the ability to raise the laptop for different access. It has a cooling fan. I only started using it today, but I think I will keep this one. My laptop is a 16 inch, and the bottom is not fully covered and to get that I would need to get a much larger lap desk and I don't want all that excess space on the sides and the back. This one leaves the back of my laptop hanging over a bit, but this is not a deal breaker for me. I will come back and update this review if I change my mind.

Awesome product. Very comfortable on your lap for hours at a time. The fan keeps the laptop cool. Study yet pretty light weight. The padding is soft yet sturdy. I love that you can adjust the stand to your liking. The laptop doesn't slide at all and keeps its position. I have not used the mouse pad attachment yet but it does seem to be sturdy as well. You can just slide it in and out and hide it when not in use. Great functionality and concept. Well worth the investment.

I had my doubts but I love this thing. It’s very lightweight made of plastic and soft rubber bumper and non-skid edging. lift the laptop up and you see the open gap of you’re using the angle and you see the plastic fan. The fan Usb chord can go left or right, about 20” long. Pretty quiet and cools well. Nice under pad too. Guessing eventually something will give, and I’ll replace it. Hate the price, but can’t have everything.

This is actually like perfect and light and pretty slim. I didn't realize that the cushion on the bottom is velcro so it can come off for use of a flat surface. The mouse pad was a little tricky to get in and out but once I figured it out, it was fine. I love this!

Perfect laptop stand for my needs. I really enjoy having it on my bed, on my lap. It's very comfortable (the cushion is really nice) and the fan does a great job keeping my laptop from getting too warm. But, the fan stops working after about a month. Wish it lasted longer. This is my second one I bought. But, not gonna lie. I'm personally gonna continue to buy this product. Especially, with every new laptop I buy. Until something better comes along. It is what it is.

On voulait résoudre les problèmes suivants : lors de journée chaude, travailler avec le portable n'est pas facile, déjà qu'il dégage de la chaleur, et cela ajoute de la chaleur sur vos cuisses, ce qui n'est pas désirable. On a cherché un moment pour trouver un support qui serait fonctionnel sur les genoux et à la fois pouvait refroidir le poste. Celui-ci fait le travail. Les coussins en dessous sont très confortables. Il est de très bonne qualité, cela aide aussi à préserver la santé de votre cou en élevant l'écran du poste. Il est génial en voiture, il est assez compact pour être transportable partout, il s'installe rapidement. Il peut aussi être utilisé sur un bureau comme la plupart des supports.

Works great for having my gaming laptop on my knee, the stowage for the lead and mouse mat is a little clunky but overall a good product. Fan is not too loud.

This was purchased for a friend who has a new computer. She has used it since the day it arrived and loves the fact that she can tilt it and keep her computer cool with no chance of it overheating. Excellent price, too.

A little snug for the the laptop. But we use it.
