You can stick the mat to your desk immediately after cleaning; you don't have to wait for it to dry.

Is there a version of this that's slightly smaller? Like 11x14?

Unfortunately our Glorious Elements mousepads only come in the one size at this time. Apologies!

How does the air compare to a hien mid?

Hien Mid has a cloth surface that has more friction than our Elements Air. Air provides a polycarbonate surface, which gives a superior glide. If speed is your priority, you can keep elements Air over Hien Mid.
