Powerful Stories and Points of View
This book was assigned as part of my doctoral program and I believe it should be mandatory for all higher learning that involves research. The material is dense, provocative and solutions oriented. Definitely made me reconsider the role of power and erasure in research.

Must have book
The most relevant book on research methods available . I’m using it to inform my PhD research and I’ve discovered that it is the book research ethics dept. are referring to.

Must read for researchers
Ordered 2 copies and both arrived super quickly and in great condition. Books can usually get bent in transit, but this one arrived perfectly!

This makes me so happy
Do yourself a favour and buy this. The author has put into words what has been brewing inside my mind for years. I never knew how to express this inner feeling of just unfairness towards the university system i went to.I never knew how to express the awful feeling that a person who is highly trained and accomplished in their field was not given recognition in my western university studies at all. I couldn't even use the texts I wanted to because the person who's works i wanted to use was just not white or trained in the western point of view.and finally, somebody who can express what i have been wanting to say for so long. i am beyond happy I found this work.thank you!

Good Book
I wouldn’t recommend this book to people who are not “academics” studying in a university. The language at times was too “academic” for basic understanding of the concepts offered.I enjoyed the explanations of imperialism and colonization and how these exist and are perpetuated by educational institutions.Overall, I am glad this book exists.
