I got this for my mom cause she has two golden retrievers and It works soo good at removing their fur. The knots needed a little work but I still give this product 5 stars

For the past several years, I've been using a Furminator, which does an excellent job of removing fur. I was offered this dematting rake comb as a sample, and figured I'd try it since the Furminator isn't specifically designed for matted hair. I was surprised to find that this Wellana tool removed just as much fur as the Furminator. On fur that's very heavily matted, it will work through it slowly, and that might exceed your pet's patience. If this were sold for shedding alone, I'd say it's worth getting since it works as well as other top rated solutions. I wouldn't consider this the perfect tool for matted hair, but it is the best that I know of.

This works well on my puppy's hair. It does a good job taking out tangles without the need to pick them out by hand (my puppy doesn't like being held still, so I was doing it while he slept).

Love this product! I have an Australian Shepherd and he always gets horrible matting behind his ears that I have struggled with for years. This Dematting Rake worked great at removing them.
