Talk about technology making human life better. I use this as a dry shaver for men. I get almost blade quality shave without the mess, cuts, bruises, and without using up the planet's fresh water supply. Shaving was my least preferred task.I bought this after reading the NYT product reviews.1) The product is quality and grips well.2) Try to use it at a 90 degree angle to skin surface for best results.3) Don't press hard against the skin.4) It will take a few passes to clean out the skin particularly at curves. That's normal.5) The learning curve is short. Use it twice and you would have figured out the technique.5) Pop the head off after every couple of shaves and dust off the powder. It is easy.6) I have not used in the stubble mode or the trimmer.7) The initial charge lasted two decent 10-15 min shaves. And it may deliver a few more.I now get a respectable shave without the ceremony. I haven't looked this sharp in quite some time.

It's a pretty good shaver. It could give a closer shave but that would mean skin irritation and I shave everyday so it's not a big deal. The pop-up trimmer is great, probably one of the best I've had. The charge lasts a good while. If you don't mind a super close shave, like me, this one works very well.

I've bought so many electric shavers in my life, from Remington to Norelco to Braun, and oddly, the simplest and less expensive versions all work just as well as the expensive ones. The key is NOT which electric shaver you buy, but in the art of shaving itself. You need to combine all of the proper steps to get a great shave, just like in a barber shop. Wash your face clean with warm/hot water, soak the beard to soften it, use a good shave oil, lather up, shave with the electric razor. Then you repeat with a shaver going with the grain, wash, then later again and shave against the grain. Always follow up with an alcohol free moisturizer, and you will be amazed at the results. It sounds like a lot of work, but basically only takes about 90 extra seconds.

It does a good job. In some places it's as close as a blade and other places it's almost as close. If you're in a hurry, this razor is great.

I bought this to replace an older (and much pricier)3 heed rechargeable rotary razor. This gives a closer more comfortable shave. Very satisfied

I bought this because I needed something that was cheap that I could use on days I was too lazy to use a straight razor. It’s a close enough shave for the price. Leaves the skin pretty smooth but not completely gets rid of hair. If you need something cheap that cleans you up quickly this is great. But if you want something that has the closest shave, look else where.

One of the best razors I’ve ever owned and I’ve bought a lot trying to find the right fit for me, but this is by far One of the best electric razors, iPhone, and 25 years. I highly recommend you buying this razor. You will never buy another one.

I don't like shaving. My best shave is with a blade, but I'll use an electric shaver if it's a close beard.My previous shaver was an expensive Braun. It never worked very well, so I thirded the price to try this. It's alright.You can cut yourself with this thing, so use a kind hand. The holes on the screen are very open so skin, or moles can be easily nicked.The charge is garbage. 2 light shaves and you're done. I wouldn't travel with it for that reason, but it's also pretty big.One other issue is that you can't use it while plugged in. My imagination runs wild wondering why.It's serviceable, that's the best I can say.

I got this to replace my older,cheaper Remington shaver, and sometimes I go a few days without shaving,so when I do,I use rhe pop up trimmer for long hairs,and with this item it snags and pulls,and you can feel every hair being pulled and takes double the time,so if you're like the same as my schedule, I do not recommend this shaver if you have beard or moustache, good for everyday shave,after a few weeks I noticed it shaves very close,but I haven't use stubble attachment,easy to grip for use in shower thanks to rubber body,and 1 charge = many shaves from a full charge,and the shaver can't be used if power cord is connected, but the pop up trimmer really bad

Pros: good comfortable close shave without burns, good battery life quick recharge.Cons: one of the blade was loosely attached after a few weeks, then it fell off during rinse every time. Finally the supported metal rod also broke off during cleaning and wasn’t able to be put back in place. This expensive shaver from a well known brand only lasts for 18 months (made in China), compared with my other Remington shavers good for 10+ years (made in USA).
