Love it but wish it had more bands to hold more music

Exactly what i needed for my chorale concert. Very nice quality and easy to hold.

I bought 12 for my church choir and they are happy with them.

Like:. Size; good size pockets to keep multiple music scores.Dislike: black cover material is somewhat mushy; pricey for the quality.

I bought this folder to replace a choral folder that was among items stolen from my car during a break-in. It’s a very durable folder, but not quite as helpful to me as my former folder. The plastic hand strap is located on the spine of the folder, and can be a little uncomfortable depending on the angle at which you’re used to holding the folder. My former folder had a narrow, black nylon band that was located lower down on the folder and attached to the front and back covers. When your hand was inserted, the angle was more comfortable to hold. Two other small flaws with this folder are that there is no pencil holder and not enough elastics. There are roomy pockets inside each cover, but my former folder had a pencil slot at the top edge of the front cover - a very convenient place for quickly grabbing your pencil to mark music. This folder only has 7 elastic bands to hold music, and my former folder had 12. This is a slight nuisance, as it may require you to swap out music at intermission if you have a long program to sing. Overall, it’s a quality folder...I just miss the features of my former folder.

Only problem is the vinyl has a couple tiny splits on the corners and can be sharp. The handle on the spine is brilliant tho!

We had been looking for folders that were not heavy or cumbersome, as most members of the choir are over 65yr old. These folders are just right for us and now the choir looks more professional.

11/29/2012: Received this item today, though I haven't had time to test it out I wanted to give a preliminary review.The first thing is that Manhasset at some point recently has changed this model of Choral folder. The photos here on Amazon currently don't reflect that. The Folder no longer has the slotted pockets, instead it has 7 elastic cords attached to the spine. In my opinion this is a much better design than the slotted pockets. There are still two pockets on either side for whatever you might need, but no pencil holder. Also the strap for your hand is made of clear plastic and is kind of tight. We'll see how comfortable it is.The quality of this choral folder is.... meh. The materials are what you'd expect a cheap to mid range 3-ring binder to be made of. It is all plastic except for the elastic and the spine where the elastic is wound through. I'm not sure how well it will hold up with frequent use, maybe a couple of months. I purchased hoping it would be a little nicer, but fully expecting that I'd have to replace it with something more well made after this season.

I have a great review in Oct 27, the day it arrived. Today is Nov 24 and I've used it only four times for choir, with only 11 skinny songs. All four corners of the pouch are already torn. Garbage.
