UPDATE...2024
I obviously love these sandals enough to have purchased 4 pair! BUT...in Feb. 2024, I purchased the black in size 10. Amazon's website showed the size 10 black were available, and it allowed me to order them. Received the package and they were a size 11. I figured it was just a mistake, so I did the replacement option. The replacements came and again, they sent me a size 11. I returned the second pair...again. I ordered the size 10 black again, figuring they had just been training people or something silly, and the THIRD PAIR arrived in...YEP...you guessed it...SIZE 11!!!! That's when I knew something was wrong. I contacted customer service and asked them what the problem was. They were very apologetic and put me on hold to research the problem. She came back to tell me the manufacturer was having a problem getting that size. So, let me get this straight. The manufacturer KNOWS they don't have that color in size 10...yet they're allowing people to purchase the size 10, and then Amazon INTENTIONALLY sends the WRONG SIZE to fulfill the order?!? What kind of whackadoodle thought process is that?!? Now my money is TIED UP in the refund process...TWICE!!!Amazon shouldn't be allowed to send the WRONG ITEM intentionally! It should be an automatic cancellation of the order when the correct item is not available! What you're doing is akin to 'bait and switch'...which is ILLEGAL!!! It's really too bad because these are some of the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned! (...and I really wanted the black ones) Bummer!!!Original post:These are very comfortable, love the insole! It's nice to find sandals that have a lined insole. My feet are happy!!! Thank you!CS

Water shoes
I bought them specifically for wearing in my kayak. They get wet, wash off, and dry great! Very light weight. I call them my clown shoes because the colors are quite vibrant and the wide toe box. But even my flat feet love them.Walking and even up and down hills they have great traction. I even swim in them and they stay on just fine. Love the closed toe box so when I’m in the water no scraping of toes on rocks. Seem to be holding up just fine.

Well made
First I want to share that I normally do not leave reviews because they can be subjective. I'll do my best to help.First slip on. VERY comfortable!Walking around in the house. Still, very comfortable.Construction, seems to be very durable. Lots of padding around the heel and ancel. Even in the tongue is padded. The material is thick and strong. Now, this all said...Remember, there not stable walking/running shoes like you would think of a normal running shoe. Why? Because they are also a flexable water shoe. So, there is only so much they can do. On this note. The bottoms of the shoes seems to be made out of some kind of tire material. They grip really really well!! Hence, why they make a good hicking shoe.I have lot's of feet problems! Had foot surgery on my left foot a couple years ago. If you have ancel problems I would not recommend this shoe. They made them as stable as they can with keeping flexibility there also.I want to share that I am NOT a paid reviewer or asked to give a review.I know that happens on here. Way to much in my operation!! Plus, shame on those that come on here and give a review of something that they never bought!I tried my best to give my own HONEST review. I hope this helps someone.I bought these shoes for hiking here in Oregon. It tends to be wet here and it was a good idea to have a two in one shoe. Once I use them out there I'll come back and let you know how they held up.***UPDATE (08/05/21)***I have now gone hiking on different dry and wet terrain's. All I can say is "impressive". I was questioning because of so much flexibility in the shoes. However, they withstood the challenge. I went foraging in a very rocky wet area. These things gripped to the rocks. Hard to grip on seaweed though of corse. I was expecting my feet to be sore at the end of the day but, they where not. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I ended up getting my husband a pair. He has not wore them yet. Have a great day.

With socks or without
My feet no longer enjoy sand and terrain on the beach. This summer I had chafing and burns from hot, coarse sand in my sandals. I pair these water shoes with sand/beach volleyball socks and it works perfect. This suffices for “shoes” for long walks on the beach or sloshing in the waves. The socks keep the sand out while the water shoes let the water flow through. Alternatively, I wear these without socks for swimming and poolside. They serve great as sandal alternatives. I wear a ladies shoe size 8.Consequently, 8 also works perfect in these water shoes. They are roomy (if you need to add socks) but the Velcro strap on the heel makes them adjustable too. They are comfortable and versatile enough to wear around town also.

Ok but not what I would wear hiking or in water
I use these for extras at camper but not really what I was expecting for fishing and using the beach. A bit long too

Good buy!
I bought these to wear on a wet vacation to Niagara Falls this year. These were perfect and I was SO GLAD I had them.I hate the look of traditional water shoes, but I was trying to find some water friendly shoes that looked nice in my opinion. I bought these in black with the aqua/teal bottom sole, and they were just what I was looking for. These fit great and sizing was as expected). They stayed secure on my feet. They were comfortable enough and a New Yorker I met even complimented me on them and asked what brand they were. I was like, uhhhh...Amazon? I checked, but didn’t see the brand printed on the shoes (which I actually kind of like since not displayed on outside of shoe).I wish I’d bought these for my girls for the trip because they were spot on for the occasion. The standard water sandals they give or sell you at most of the Niagara water attractions fit my daughter oddly and looked rather silly. It was all in good fun though. If given the option, these are a good purchase at this price point.
