GE A19 Incandescent Stained Glass Light Bulb, 25-Watt, Decorative, Festive Colored, Medium Base, 5-Pack

Over seven years ago or so, I first purchased this stained glass light bulb from Home Depot as a single bulb. I used it in my lamppost for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. It gives off a warm glow from the yellow color and has hints of the other colors that shows through the frosted panes of the lamp top. It is an excellent compliment to each of my holiday lamppost decorations. Since I was using that one bulb seasonally, as time went by, I realized I should start looking to buy another one as the color was finally starting to fade a bit. I kept checking Home Depot for quite a while and found that they don't sell this particular bulb anymore. So when I found them again, online this time, I ordered this multi-pack. The GE brand is the only manufacturer I could find who makes these. This stained glass bulb emits a very attractive lighting effect in rooms as well. Very unique!

These bulbs are a great price. I bought 5 and have them all ovdr the house now! Mood lighting! If you are using a galss shade the colors are brilliant and come through like stained glass! Under a white shad they are kind of like a modern art piece , wavy blocks of color. I really enjoy them ! Will be getting more to hand out to family and friends. No sabía que existían este tipo de focos hasta que empecé a buscar focos en forma de vela y estos aparecieron en mis sugerencias. Al ver las reseñas y las fotos en Amazon.com, sentí mucha curiosidad por probarlos y los compré.Al igual que los focos tipo vela, estos focos deben ser importados desde Estados Unidos por estar un poco fuera de lo normal. Temía que alguno llegara roto (pues esto pasa incluso con las personas que los compran en Estados Unidos), pero afortunadamente llegaron en perfectas condiciones (situación un tanto milagrosa ya que su embalaje no cuenta con mucha protección).Al abrirlos, me di cuenta de que son tamaño estándar y que además son mucho más bonitos en persona. Según GE, son pintados a mano y por lo tanto cada uno produce un efecto diferente.Al igual que los focos en sí, este efecto es mucho más impresionante en la vida real y las fotos no demuestran toda su belleza. Aunque predominan los tonos cálidos (pues las partes azules y verdes son muy pequeñas), la iluminación que producen estos focos es algo fuera de lo común y casi mágico.Sin duda alguna, se los recomiendo a todo aquel que quiera probar algo diferente, quiera añadirle un poco de vida a las mismas lámparas de siempre o simplemente esté buscando algún tipo de iluminación especial para alguna celebración como Navidad o Halloween.Aunque estos focos no cuenten con mucha potencia, siguen siendo muy originales e incluso podría decirse que su uso “se disfruta”. Tampoco son los más baratos del mundo, pero los productos novedosos siempre cuestan un poco más y en este caso, lo valen.

I wish the LED version of the tiffany bulbs put off the same color. I use these in a frosted crackled, cylinder shaped touch lamp from hampton bay, and the color effect through the glass is amazing. I rarely use incandescent bulbs anymore, but I do keep a good stock of these.

Project a nice warm glow. Easy to set the mood and have not started on fire after a years worth of use.
