Speck Products Balance Folio iPad Air 10.9-inch Case and Stand, Arcadia Navy/Moody Grey

I have had several iPads over the years and always go for Speck cases as they’re well designed, sturdy and long lasting. They’re pricier than other cases but keep going over the years so worth it.

Great fit it’s not the cheapest to buy But in my opinion well worth the money

After trying 3 other cases, this one is the best folio case you can get for this iPad. Options seem to be limited for this model and it makes finding a good one hardMy one complaint is that the locking Mechanism is inherently a little flawed and probably should be magnetic. You have to press it and I feel like it will be a failure point in the future. Maybe Speck wanted to be different. It does allow you to lock the flap open which, turns out, is not a feature on most cases. If you want a folio, get this one.

When I purchased my iPad I wanted to protect the device and this cover had some good reviews. I purchased this cover a month ago. Everything about it seemed sturdy and the sleep function would work well and the device would be easy to hold with the case. In words and pictures the cover is great. In every day use, the case is awkward to hold and the tablet slips often when trying to set it in place for viewing/typing. The sleep function sometimes takes too long to register or fails to work at all. If you are holding the device, you need to clip the cover to itself just to keep the flap from falling. There is just no comfortable way of holding this thing. Unless you are only using the case to put the device in a bag or sit it open on a flat surface, the case begins to annoy you very quickly. Well, it began to annoy me very quickly. Durability, the case seems great. I do like that the buttons are easily assessable and the pencil is connecting directly to my iPad so it actually stays put in the case.I liked the case enough not to return it as it did fit my current budget, but you are making sacrifices when you choose this case.

This case is pleasantly lighter than what's specified in the specs, at 345 grams (12.2 oz). Maybe the 13.6 oz. item weight refers to the shipping weight, not the actual weight of the case.Unfortunately, the plastic latch mechanism feels somewhat flimsy. Not sure how the latch would hold up over time, and I sure wouldn't bet on it surviving an impact.
