This is ok but do not think that is a very good flavor. Exemp for the flavor, the rest is good.

Mixes well, mild flavor and organic
This is the first time I am trying maca powder so I am no expert, but have read many good things about it. I was a little worried about the flavor as I could kind of smell it when I opened the amazon box, but it is also about 120 degrees out in the courtyard where the package was delivered that day. However there was no damage to the package or anything.I decided to try 1 tsp in my morning latte (1/2 c warmed whole milk, 20 drops of liquid monk fruit extract, 2 shots of Nespresso, dash of cinnamon) and honestly I could barely taste it. I could tell there was something a little different, but it definitely was NOT overwhelming or "gross". It really mixed well too which was nice as I was worried about clumps.I am just finishing up my latte now but feel good and pretty alert but not jittery. I can post an update once I use for a while as I have read that it is supposed to help with mental efficiency, alertness, physical endurance and hormone balance so we will see. I definitely like it so far and plan to try in baking and smoothies as well.

Balance
This is an excellent energizing supplement. It has now become an essential part of my diet. I take a teaspoon about 3-4 times a day. The first day I noticed a rush of pleasurable energy rush from my root to my sacral, solar plexus and heart chakras. It was a beam of light penetrating my inner core, and now I'm much more at peace and balanced. Do your research and look up this root to see for yourself what benefits a person can receive. Everything that has been written has affected me thus far-without confirmation of fertility-though I am trying. I've never felt so energized and with such a wonderful sense of well being with a very noticeable ability to focus and concentrate on tasks with ease. Even my memory has improved. I am now into my third day and haven't lost one thing-keys, phone, wallet. It truly has benefited me and I am very grateful for such a rapid and expansive healing experience. Thank you so much for your product and the passion to share with others your love for an individual's need to feel the peace and presence so much needed for balance which gives us the appreciation for quality in our lives. Thank you-many many blessings,Rachel

Maca should be cooked; not eaten raw.
DO NOT EAT THIS RAW. Let me repeat that: DO NOT EAT THIS RAW.I bought this powder about a month ago. I put it into large capsules and have been consuming a capsule every other day. For the past two weeks, I've noticed that I've been getting incredibly bloated most days, and then for the past week, I've had heartburn. Tonight, I stopped and thought to myself, "What has changed in the past couple of weeks that could be causing this?" And bingo... maca. Sure enough, quick research showed that raw maca is notorious for causing these problems.Presumably, you are taking maca because you want to reap the benefits the Peruvians have had for thousands of years. Well, guess what? Peruvians don't eat it raw. They cook it. When you cook a plant, it changes chemically which means its nutritional value changes. So essentially, if you want the same nutrients that Peruvians get, you shouldn't eat it raw.As for whether or not the maca works, I'm not sure. I am, however, still willing to give it a shot. As I type this, the powder is now baking in my oven at 300 degrees. (There are plenty of videos out there that show you how to cook raw maca.) I will update my review after I've tried fully cooked maca for a month or so.

Seems like good quality and a nice nutty flavor.
You need to either get gelatenized maca or cook the powder, I've found mixing it into my coffee while it's pouring out of the Keurig dissolves it nicely. If I let it cool at all it tends to not dissolve all the way and leaves sediment at the bottom, but that's just maca, not the brand.Overall this seems like good quality, it's sourced from Peru like it should be and has a nice nutty flavor when mixed in with something else, or boiled alone with some natural sweetener like maple syrup or honey.
