Rain Suits for Fishing Waterproof Rain Gear for Men Women Heavy Duty Rain Coat Jacket with Pants/Overalls

I usually don't respond to these customer ratings things but, this rain suit exceeded my expectations so, here we are. I have always purchased rain suits at Lowe's or Home Depot for around $25. These things are junk. I use them exactly once and throw them away because the seat (back sides) blow out the first time I bend over. I had more than a days work to get done around the house so I looked on Amazon for something a little better that might last more than one use. So, for around $54 or slightly more than twice the price of the junk I normally use once and throw away, I got a rain suit that seems like it will last for years. I've used this suit about six times and even wore it while painting my fence, it's that comfortable! The jacket that comes with it is really pretty nice. I mean, I'd wear the jacket out and about in town and nobody would even know it's part of a rain suit! It's really that nice! It has a nice collar on it so it looks like any other name brand jacket and it has an inside pocket to boot! It's perfect for a walk in the rain or whatever. The pants fit perfectly right out of the bag. I'm an XL guy, typical mid-fifties with a huge beer gut. The suspenders are nice, sewn together in the back to make the crossover (like an X) and they are sufficiently elastic to make a comfortable fit that isn't too restrictive like the cheap rain suits that just get thrown away after one use. So, that's the story...I'm a pretty happy customer. Best 50 bucks or so that I've spent in a while.

The sizing is just right! It fits very well and comfortably. What I really like about it is the design. Its breathable which prevents me from feeling very sticky when it rains. I wear it for work because I'm usually out in the rain and it's definitely very waterproof. As dry as before I left the house. I'd say It serves its purpose well. Also the pockets were definitely a plus Most of my old rain suits didn't have pockets which was extremely inconvenient for work. Overall great quality and probably one of the best I've purchased.

I like that it was lightweight and not expensive. I brought it for my son to use on his motorcycle. He would get wet when the rain ran down the inside of the coat from the top. Or that his pants got wet riding because the jacket was not long enough, and the pants only went to his waist. With these pants going higher up his chest, he stayed dry. The other day the rain was so hard when he came home and took off the rain suit he was dry!!!! This is the first time for any rain suit. I will be telling other people to buy this rain suit as it WORKS!!!!

I would have given 5 stars but for one reason. The zipper leaves a lot to be desired. It’s too flimsy and will pull apart from the bottom. The snap at the bottom will stop it more often than not but not always. They should use a larger sturdier zipper. It would be nice if the pockets had the same lining as the jacket also. This notwithstanding the gear holds up well. I work at an international airport refueling cargo jets (e.g. 747’s), and after several months of it being doused with jet fuel it shows no signs of wear from it and will easily last another couple of years. Some strips of reflective material all the way around would be nice too. The material keeps you very dry in heavy rains and doesn’t make you sweat like a pig like other rain gear does. All-in-all I’m quite satisfied.

We have a Colorado River Grand Canyon trip coming up, and this rain suit needs to keep me dry and be light enough to pack and be able to dry quickly. I bought several different styles (thanks, Amazon!) to actually try on and evaluate and this is the one that I think will make the grade.

Took this on a fishing trip and talk about worthless! I was completely soaked and it took forever to dry back out. Maybe would work as a wind breaker but definitely not for rain.

Rain pants pretty true to size but need to wear pants underneath because hip pockets are open to put hands in pant pockets. The jacket is alittle bigger but good for wearing a sweatshirt or layers. Material medium thickness and rain resistant. Would buy product again.

LOVE! It is high quality and well made. Clearly designed by someone who knows what they are doing. It closes securely around your neck, tightens around your boots and has good coverage between the pants and the jacket!I am 5’3” and 170 lbs and I got the small, it’s a great rain set!

I was in a big fall of rain the other day while fishing and it kept me bone dry even though I was sitting on a wet boat seat.
