Works as replacement.
Undid top of washer with just a couple of screws, tilted washer forward and installed these from bottom. Had 3 people helping. 2 on the top holding and tilting, one on the bottom installing the 4 new rods. The videos show one person can do it by unhooking the water lines and laying the washer on the side but we didn't want to do that and don't have the room for that anyway. We didn't use any of the new plastic top-cup pieces as the old ones are in fine shape. The rods are a bit thinner than the original but sturdy enough.It takes a steady hand and a bit of patience to get it installed but anyone can really do it with a little help from a friend or child. It took us about 35 minutes from start to finish.I don't know about longevity since we have only used for about 4 months. BUT is was like night and day. I wish I had done it sooner as it was relatively easy and the machine works SO SMOOTHLY now, not a hint of vibration compared to the previous banging and jumping, sometimes even with careful balancing.It is SO GOOD. If your machine is banging/not balancing, just replace these. You won't regret it.

Fixes the common problem of a noisy, shaking washer
We replaced our old parts in about 20 minutes (3 screws off the back and just tip the washer left, then right to remove and insert the new rods). They fixed our problem straight away. No more walking washer, bashing everything in site, including itself! The only problem now is, we can't tell when the spin cycle is on because we can't hear the thing screaming from the other room!

Perfect and easy to assemble
My washer kept making hitting sounds, after reviewing some videos I ordered these after assuring the part fit my make and model and the assembly was easy and quick in under an hour it was installed, fit perfect and washes quickly.

Inexpensive fix for unbalanced load issue
Had older washer that was bouncing with heavy loads, replaced these and it now works much better. Took a little time, but once got washer apart (watched online demos) installation was not too bad.
