Evanger's Heritage Classics Beef It Up Dinner for Cats - 12, 12.5 oz cans

I have 3 indoor cats - a male who eats anything, a female who can't eat chicken, and a senior girl who would barely eat wet food. After the younger girl got a UTI and some crystals, and the boy got cystitis (no crystals), I decided the best thing to do would be to pull the dry food left out for nibbles 24 hours a day. I was really worried about my older girl eating enough. To my delight, she LOVES this food! And my chicken-intolerant girl is eating the beef flavor without issues, even with the chicken liver in the recipe. Love the big cans.

I rarely go write a review after immediately getting a product but I just had the holy grail of experiences with this ‘Gone Fishing’ cat food.I have a herd of cats. I didn’t try to get so many but apparently I’ve got the feline magnetism gene. Found wandering the streets? Come home with me. Found stuck in a bush with a broken tooth? I’ve got excellent cat bed real estate at my place. You found a kitty but you’re allergic? I’ll take that little cutie! I’m sure cat owners know the struggle of finding something that even one cat will like, so I felt like I was taking a huge gamble to order a case of this, hoping that all 6 of my furry snuggle bugs would like it 🤞I liked that the ingredient list was short, grain free, and healthy, and the large 12oz can size suitable for multi cat households AND affordable??(imagine opening two or four of those dinky smaller cans every meal—wow that adds up).ALL SIX OF THEM LOVED IT. This pic has 5 out 6 but shortly after this my old senior buddy who was dozing and not realizing it was mealtime (he’s the most picky of all) also came and enjoyed his pâté de poisson[fish]. Chefs kiss 🤌

My cat refused to eat more than two bites of this so I donated it to a shelter to see if any of their felines would eat it.However, Evanger’s has incredible quality so I still think it’s a wonderful brand and quality of canned cat food.

While it's really not the product's fault, perhaps, but my cats and my foster kitties very much DISLIKE this food :( and for the cost. It was a huge waste! I LOVE the size of the cans, however. It makes it much easier to feed a large number of cats (unlike competitors' stupid 3 oz. cans--seriously!) Very few companies make 12 oz cans, so I thought Evanger's cat food was perfect-if only my cats liked the taste. The first flavor I tried with them was the Chicken. However, it was NOT a stand-alone food, but a dinner complement :( They didn't like the taste of that either. Improve the taste for picky and not-so-picky eaters, and we may try it again.

Is a good value for the money

Eva gets! What have you done? Did you hide kitty crack in this food? My finicky cats hate everything! No matter what I buy, and I mean cat food brands that were driven here in a feline shaped limo, carried into my kitchen on a velvet cushion , warmed gently and served in warmed cat dishes made of solid gold, by the lovely hands of goddess models, and still my cats will laugh at me, flick their tails and walk away, collectively stating that, “we are not amused and this cat food tastes like the north going end of a south going skunk!”So I ask again, Evangers, what’s in this stuff? My cats love it and can’t get enough. They actually had to all hang their heads and apologize for their former unkind cat food rejecting behavior, vowing never again to be so rude to their loving car mom!Listen cat lovers, just buy this food and save yourself the humiliation of yet another cat food brand rejection. You will feel a great deal of satisfaction when your finicky felines can’t find anything to complain about and gobble down this elixir of the feline gods!!!

....eating this up! I got the beef and liver because when I see liver it's a must have. Being a 14yo cat he needs the iron and I took a chance with this one.It was not a loaf but a creamy to thick mixture. No foul odor and he gobbled it up!No complaints here but it is only the very 1st can. We will see!
