A new time dawns.
The author has a great imagination, yet at times draws on biblical sayings and instructions. The story he weaves is not of this world but exemplifies the cycles and struggles of good against evil which we find in our own world. While I prefer a reality that I can relate to, I found myself enjoying the read and envisaging how another reality is possible.

Always a good read but NO ending!
I’ve reads lots of Jeff Wheeler’s books all well written good storylines and some really good twists in the plots. This series of books are the same - but and it’s a great big BUT!!!!!!! There’s no end! That’s it! The series is at least 1 book short maybe even 2? I did see this in another review also the fact that Jeff doesn’t plan to revisit these characters at the moment. This is a real shame as there’s still lots to say about them. So if unsatisfactory endings don’t spoil your enjoyment of Jeff books you might want to buy this series of 3. I was left wanting disappointed and alittle puzzled at the outcome. Other than they’re excellent.

Book 3 the grave kingdom
Well as a martial 4th Dan retired I see all the confrontations having taught with sword staggered sectional and knife can visualise this book while I read my poor husband has never read a book and doesn't know the joy I felt reading all three after finishing the second book I had to wait for the third and screamed when I found this out. However now I'm thinking there has to be a fourth fifth and sixth bookYou will not be disappointed with this read if you follow the writer as I do cannot wait for my next adventure mmmm

Destiny fulfilled
A very good Kung Fu series. I enjoyed all the book in this series. I have to say I do agree with Jeff wife (read the acknowledgments page). The book started out a bit slow for me. I was actually if the story had lost it's way an if everything I liked about the story was not done. The next 2/3 of the book are a fast paced, cannot turn the pages fast enough story. With plenty of action that was missing earlier.Jeff Wheeler mentioned all the Kung Fu movies he watched to research this. He mentioned Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and I can definitely see the influences of that movie her.A great book about destiny, family and of course martial arts. A slow start but definitely worth pushing through. Not all questions are answered buy there might be s reason that. Here's hoping.

A great conclusion to a highly enjoyable series
I’m a huge fan of this series and have read and thoroughly enjoyed the other books. There’s something I really enjoy about the mythology of these books. This is a great end to what’s been a great series with Bingmei’s plans and power and determination to stop Echion come full circle, in a very unexpected way. I got completely absorbed in the mythology, setting and events of the book which is so well written I didn’t want to stop reading once I started. I have other books by the author that I haven’t read. I look forward to discovering more of his work.

The Immortal Words
Whilst I had been completely hooked reading the first two books in the series, I couldn’t put this book down. This was in spite of way it moved forward and back in time and how people were killed off and then were brought back to life, which threw me at times. The story finished rather abruptly, leaving loose ends which could be picked up in a new series, if the author so wished.I still feel the book deserves a high rating.

It Ends well or does it
Biegmie and Rowan eventually become man and wife but in the process many friends have died and she is beholden to Xixi for the protection of her son. Dixie might come to claim him as in the OATH they both swore at the height of the battle of wills. I wait with bated breath for the next instalment.
