I really like the way this looks. I have one in front of my house in the Decomposed Granite section near the front of my yard. It charges well. It lights up nicely. The batteries are replaceable.It is made of some sort of plastic, so if you hit it with a car or something it will break. But just don't do that. ;-) If it was sturdier, it would cost more and weigh more. So, I'm happy with the purchase.Oh, and where I live gets very windy sometimes, so I put four (barely visible) extremely large nails in the ground to keep it from blowing into the street. Sort of a small cage. But It can get extremely windy here. 40mph gusts are common at the right time of year, and 60+ occasionally happens. Most folks would never need to do that.

I've only had this item for a few days so I can't speak for it's longevity. However, so far so good. It works as it should and charges well (it's placed on my porch and receives direct sunlight during the day). Despite this, I only give it 3 stars since for the high price one would expect better craftsmanship. As documented, glue is sticking out and there's a smear of I don't know what on the bottom. Not sure how this passed quality control. Additionally, the battery screws are extremely difficult to remove. It's as if they were super glued. Some pluses: The item comes with a few sets of numbers 0-9 so you should be covered if you have several repetitive numbers. Numbers are easy to put it in. The lighting is more of an off white than a pure white, which I prefer. Overall it does what it's supposed to but I wish for the price the craftsmanship was better.

I purchased this because people were having trouble locating my home. Now that o have this, my pizza is delivered to the correct home. It gives off a nice light and being solar powered is even better! Love it!

Only stays lit for a few hours after the sun goes down.

We've ordered this twice since 2014 (eventual water damage is inevitable, but took several years of east coast weather before replacement). Our Doordarsh and Amazon deliveries have been 100% reliable in our difficult to find garden apartment with this adorable, simple addition.

I've had it for about a month now and it works well despite the heavy rain storms we've had recently. I was impressed when the strong winds didn't knock it over. It is very bright and easy to read from the street in daylight and at night. The numbers are large. The housing looks like stone but I think it is actually plastic. Overall, I like it. I purchased this one to replace a similar item we had for about 10 years. Hopefully this one will last that long too.
