Terrific supportive boot with amazing comfort and traction! I feel safe walking on any kind of surface in these boots. I put Cadence insoles in them, which really makes them so comfortable I don't even want to take them off.

This is my third pair of Salmon hiking boots and I still have the 2 older pair that aren't at all worn out. This is an amazing boot and whatever upgrades made to the newest Quest 4 has improved the overall feel and performance. I honestly wouldn't have believed there was anything to be changed on the previous boots, but these are MORE comfortable out of the box ... traction has improved, and they even look better. I attached a pic of my new pair after i mink oiled them. THIS IS THE BEST CHOICE IN HIKING BOOTS.

I received the shoe quickly and the shoe seems sturdy and well built. I tested it with water and foot kept dry. I have only used it on the treadmill as my hiking trip is next month in Nepal. I can provide more feedback after my trip.

Love the way they look in the quality however I had to return them because they were like one size too big

These are the absolute best boots. I tried 5 pairs, Merrell, Hoka, and another Solomon. Hands down best fit, best lacing system, traction. Super waterproof. Everything. These boots are Everything!! They are warm enough for winter hikes with wool socks. Im taking them to the Grand Canyon next week, and dont anticipate them being overly warm, but will update if its an issue. 80 miles on them so far and every one has been a joy!

Very impressed with these hiking boots! They have great ankle support, give a nice bounce to your step, & required zero break in period! My first time hiking in these was a 12 mile hike on rough terrain with lots of elevation changes, 6 hours total. My feet only started hurting minimally within the last hour of my hike. I do swear by wearing good merino wool socks (mine contain 70% merino wool) & using hike goo on your feet before putting your socks on, no matter what hikers you decide to wear! But I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone!

I love the colors and sturdiness of these boots. Unfortunately, I have trouble with boots digging into my right ankle (or my right ankle sticking out too far), so I had to return them. Boo hoo.

This boot saves my feet for my hiking in Gros Morne national park in NL. - No need to break-in. I got it right before my trip - Wider toe and feet space to accommodate fatter feet and toes after long hike - Strong support to my ankles. I sprained my ankle less than a month before the trip. Without this boot, I might have sprained it again. - Very light and comfortable: wore them during my flight

Las amo !!! Me han acompañado a bastantes aventuras todo terreno. Las he usado para hikings, para la nieve, proximamente para mas aventuras! Recomendadas.

Passt wie der Vorgänger gut, ist wasserdicht und ermöglicht ermüdungsfreies Bergwandern auch auf steinigigem Gelände, sanfte Abrollhilfe funktioniert gut, Einlegesohle lässt sich gut herausnehmen und waschen, Schuh-Sohle hält bei mittlerer Beanspruchung (6 Berg-Wanderwochen pro Jahr) ca. 4 Jahre, danach nicht ab Werk wechselbar, Leder zeigte beim fast identischen Vorgängerstiefel von Salomon nach 4 Jahren Risse im vorderen Bereich und zur Schutzkappe hin löste sich die Verklebung und wird trotz GORETEX undicht in genau diesem vorderen Bereich. Sehr praktisch ist, dass der Vorfuß mittels Schnürung an 2 Ösen fest fixiert werden kann und die obere Schnürung an das Gelände angepasst werden kann. D.h. bei mir Bergauf lockerer, Bergab fester. Update nach 4 Jahren mit dem neuen Stiefel im Einsatz ca. 6 Wochen pro Jahr, löst sich die Profil-Sohle an einem Schuh auf und bröckelt teilweise weg, die Abnutzung ist ansonsten auf beiden Seiten gleichmäßig und relativ gering. Die Schuhe stehen immer trocken und kühl. Da der Steinschutz im vorderen Zehenbereich fest ist, kommt es bei mir leider immer wieder zu einem blauen großen Zeh, interessanterweise nur links. Ich wechsele jetzt die Marke, zu einem Hersteller der mehr Service bietet. Mein alter Leder-Goretex- Lowa Wanderstiefel hat bei gleicher Beanspruchung 20 Jahre gehalten und zwei Mal die Sohle gewechselt bekommen!

These are a perfect fit for my feet . I’ve extremely weird arches . I don’t get leg cramps with use . But I’m now at point I need my third pair of them . They only last two years used in bad weather or long walks . I’m not sure I want to buy a pair that only last two years use. Or usage of five months of the year .

These are the best boots, they did take one hike to get used to them as they are above the ankle. I just love them now, thank you
