This is a scary beast. The stainless steel makes it unexpectedly heavy, but it balances well for writing with the cap off. The striking tip is actually fairly sharp, similar to a target arrowhead. I think I'd have more confidence stabbing with this than the average small folding knife (it'll make a nasty puncture), and just pressing the tip anywhere reasonably sensitive is going to get the other guy's attention.Pros: Solid. Heavy. Sharp. Shiny (very eye-catching, which could be a Con). Writes well.Cons: Heavy. Too heavy to comfortably clip on a shirt, for instance. (If you want light, go with one of the aircraft aluminum models.) And the cap takes 6-8 good twists to unscrew, then you have no place to put it (it doesn't stay stuck on the other end--maybe just clip it back on your clothing).

Good tactical pen. I like the fact that it's made of stainless steel to give it some weight, I'm a little bit cynical of the tactical pens made out of aluminum. Aluminum is a soft metal that can't take any real punishment. I don't want a tactical pen whose toughness I can't trust and will probably need to replace after the first time that I really have to use it.

I am very pleased with my recent purchase of this tactical pen. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality and solid weight of the pen. The tip is fairly sharp (as it should be). The metal mill work appears flawless and the polished stainless steel is attractive and impressive. The size of the pen is perfect for my male hand size. (Some of the others I looked at were much shorter). While using the pen, I found it well balanced and easy to grip. Even though the clip can be removed, I prefer to keep it in place. Because it comes in a box suitable for gifting, I hope to purchase a few more for that very purpose. I have nothing negative or critical to say about this pen... which results in an easy five stars!

I receive this yesterday but until today I was able to pick it up and brought it to work with me, I opened it try writing, grip, material along with the use and love it to include the same opinion from got from my co-workers asking were I bought it for the to get on also. Rebecca this Apor tactical pen is very nice that I'm looking forward to carrying it at ALL times with me for any emergency and show, recommend to friends.

I like it, I get a lot of complements on it, the edges are a little sharp and could use a further deburring treatment, but other than that it works great for now.

Great pen, heavier than expected. Quality made. Almost 5 star. I would buy this again.

This pen is heavy duty and well built. I don't use it for a pen, although it writes pretty well, I have it for potential defensive purposes on my job and can carry it unnoticed. The striking tip is actually pretty sharp, which surprised me. I am very happy with this.
