These collars are very tight to close initially but after a few uses they are much easier. They grip the bar very tightly, preventing the weights from moving. Solid construction too.

Decent clip for the price, friends and family bought some after I got my set based on my recommendation. Every colour closely matches the pictures of the ones we got. Grips tightly and has no play so feels good and secure. Is a little stiff at first to get on and off but after a short bit eases up. I found this stiffness preferable and still easier than metal spring clamps but no fear of it failing. Used on multiple brands of Olympic bars and not had any issues of it not fitting either.
