OSIR Remanufactured Ink Cartridge Replacement for HP 61XL ( Black,Cyan,Magenta,Yellow , 3-Pack )

HP Deskjet 3054A. These ink cartridges fit perfectly and are recognized by the printer as "used HP cartridges" which is fine. The ink level show up as full after printing about 30 pages of mixed color and black text. I have not used FUZOO brand cartidges but I will again. The HP brand just for (2) black type 61XL cartridges is $60 at Costco. These FUZOO brand arrive in a sealed bag, and the cartridge itself has a removable plastic cover that protects the print head. After that you tear off a bit of green plastic tape that is clearly marked. The FUZOO cartridges are a perfect physical fit. The HP Deskjet 3054A printer immediately detected the catridges as legitimate though 'used' and accepted them without incident.The print quality is every bit as good as original HP brand catridges there is no difference at all that I can see. Time will tell if they last as long but after printing about 30 pages it looks like these will be good at least as long as HP brand cartridges and maybe better.It is good to see a brand of 'compatible' catridges that really is compatible and works 100% like the HP ink.

Maybe now that I'm writing a negative review, the seller will respond. The first black cartridge I used lasted about 60 pages. That's an issue. So I contacted he seller and they never responded. So I Changed the cartridge and just a couple weeks later, it stops working again. My printer tells me there is an error, so I change the color cartridge first. Nope, now it says there is an error because there is a refurbished cartridge being used. So I pull the color out. It's the other black one still. Contact the seller- NOTHING!!!I would caution anyone to try these. They may work, but you take a gamble. As expensive as new cartridges are, I have had very few issues with them.

Re-manufactured cartridges can be a gamble. The compromise when going with cheaper, re-manufactured cartridges is that you will likely have printing problems at some point that generally don't happen with new OEM cartridges. These Fuzoo cartridges produced gaps and fuzziness from both black and color cartridges after a very short period of use. I have had good experience with non-OEM cartridges but these were not acceptable. It's possible that a replacement set might work better but I decided to return these and go back to the YoYoInk products (more expensive) but am satisfied (YoYoInk also have a very responsive warranty process, as well, that I've had to use recently).

They did not fit quite properly (top bars of "holders" was a tiny bit up), and would NOT print. By comparing (old, just taken out) mine with them, the dots (or blips, or 'you can work now thingies') were not the same. Yours appeared to have an extra dot to the side. I understand they are recycled cartridges, so don't understand how this happened, but it did. I removed and replaced them 5-6 times, to be sure it wasn't me or the printer (the old ones still printed). To make a long story short (well, too late for that), I returned them. Got more expensive HP, but they work!!

At first I was a little skeptical when I saw that not only was this less than the price of 1 cartridge, but you get 3 XLs! Then seeing that it was a generic/remanufactured product didn't help ease my fears. But after being reassured by reviews, and knowing I had Amazon's return policy as some protection, I decided to bite the bullet and make the purchase. So far I only replaced the black and the printer took it w/o any problems as if it were an HP brand cartridge. No pop-ups or warnings indicating I was using a generic replacement (which I was afraid would happen). The test page popped out perfectly, as well as the subsequent color and black & white pages I've since printed. No regrets here, great product and I'll definitely purchase again.

The cartridges were nicely packed and had all the appearance of the new cartridge. But after installation, it would not print and my PC was receiving the printer's diagnostics as "Previously used genuine hp cartridge" and the ink level showed near empty. Obviously, the manufacturer is using the used cartridges and repackages them with little or no ink.

So far so good. It's been several weeks of use. No problems with installation errors or printing problems. No messy cartridges. Print quality is the same as genuine HP ink. Only thing I've noticed is the printer will occasionally automatically start printing a test print page upon waking up. I expected this to happen right after install but it has happened a hand full of times since, as I mentioned, upon waking up. I just cancel the print job. It's kind of annoying but worth the savings on ink in my opinion.

Glad for a chance to have a cost-saving alternative to brand-name printer inks. My husband uses the black cartridges with his Ebay business for printing postage labels. He thought the ink was maybe a bit less sharp, but for his purposes, it suited just fine. Very readable and definitely will be reordered when he runs out. But the HP printer he has worked great with these cartridges. He had no difficulty with using them. In a day when it's almost as cheap to buy a new printer than it is to replace the ink with name-brand cartridges, this comes as a welcome relief!
