I needed a rivet gun to finish off a project I was doing on my folding camper and came across this one. I was a bit sceptical at first as it cost a lot less than other ones listed but thought as it was only going to be used a few times then it made sense. Plus it came with an assortment of rivets. On delivery, (which was next day) I was amazed at the sturdiness and quality of the gun. It comes in a great case and with a huge selection of rivets. The instructions are not amazing but each rivet adapter is labelled with the size and also colour coordinated with the corresponding rivet selection box. Anyhow, I managed to complete my project I bought the rivet gun for and went on to do a few more jobs with it. (I was planning to drill and bolt a couple of sections but riveting them was quicker and less hassle)

Purchased this rivet gun for a camper van project and am delighted with it. The kit is neat self contained and the zip up case us of a good quality. The kit comes with 4 sizes of rivet and clear well written guide covering material think ness and drill size guide. As an occasional user most riviters would do the job but for me having a good self contained case means when I need it again in a month or a year everything I need us together in one place. In use the gun grips the rivets well and requires several light squeezes to pull the rivet tight and release the rod. Spot on. Thanks, Preciva, well put together piece of kit.

The tool overall is quite good but if you want to use it just for 4.8mm rivets i would not recommend as every single one is getting stuck. The metal is strong.Works great with any other smaller rivets and it can fit in tight spaces!

Great accessory for mechanics tool box.

Product seems fine. Perhaps rivets on the poor quality side. Most importantly for me, I was expecting a storage bag as shown in the illustrations / reviews. Sadly not.

As you can see it comes in a nice booklike case, it's a bit more compact than I expected but it fits nicely in the hand and has a good smooth action that doesn't make you work as hard as many riveters do, yes you have to pull the handle 2 or 3 times more but because your using less effort it's not a problem, it also includes a good amount of rivets to in a plastic case all in one neat package. So yes I definitely recommend this product.

I have been using this for some time now and am very impressed, its not a tool i use daily but everytime i use it it works with out any issues. As I have found from other Preciva tool's, the build quality is excellent. The results are consistent and all the fixings have held well. As with a lot of the Preciva tool's it comes with a case, and every time I use it I think how flimsy it is and expect it to fail HOWEVER in the past 2 years of having Preciva tools ive never had a case fail. All round an excellent tool for the money.

Tool is much as I expected it to be, appears reasonable quality for the price. Has 4 adapters for different sized shanks and a selection of rivets to get you started. Grip is comfortable but the arms are shorter than others I have owned so getting the leverage for the bigger rivets could be an issue for some.

Rivet got stuck after first use and it doesn't seem possible to remove it even after disassembling the device...

Bought it to use on crafting, this thing is easy to use and I find it useful, happy purchase.

Takes many squeezes to actually pop the rivets, works just not quick enough to do many rivets in a row.

This works good, easy to use, works like a charm, great tool.

The directions are not CLEAR at all, was not getting a bite on the rivet. Once I adjusted the larger of the 2 screws on the tip it was able to grab the rivet ( I never had a rivet gun that acted like this before ). Also it is common with most rivet guns to not eject the left over shaft, just give it a good tap or 2 on the face and it will come free, no need to take it all apart. It gets better in this regards as you use them. Does take a few more pulls then the rivet guns I am use to, but it gets there for you and the pulls are not so crazy high of effort at least for me with the largest rivet supplied. Overall should work for my needs. Now on to fixing that garbage can lid ;-)
