I made a mistake in a previous review, since I have bought two models from the same supplier. The hat that comes with a kind of a shield and a straight golden cord is great. It has a great shape on the front. Also, the material looks really cool. And I have a huge head and it fits perfectly. Now, there are other hats, they have a square patch on the front and the golden string on the front is twisted: these ones do not have any support on the front, the front is also quite short so it looks kind of like a cheap beanie, the fabric looks much poorer (it's cotton, but it somehow looks cheaper than the previous model I described, which might be synthetic but looks way better) and they don't even fit my head, so pay attention to the model. Don't get me wrong: this second model could be probably cooler for kids, but the first I am mentioning is way cooler for adults and looks totally real.

I'm a docent/volunteer on a tourist attraction former ocean-liner, The Queen Mary. We dress to look nautical and "period". it adds to the ambiance of the venue and folks like to salute. Very nice for the money.

Exactly what I expected!

I bought a Captain Obvious costume for Halloween and the hat that came in the bag was garbage... flimsy, misshapen, and overall cheap looking. This was purchased to replace that one. It's night and day better quality and has a much better look.
