NIVEA Vanilla and Sweet Cream Pampering Body Wash with Nourishing Serum, 20 Fl Oz Bottle

The scent is definitely not what I was expecting. I bought it thinking it would be a sweet vanilla scent, but that is not at all the case. I wouldn't even say it smells anything like vanilla if I just smelled the soap without knowing its name. It is actually more powdery smelling than sweet or woodsy. Not always a bad thing, but in this case, it definitely has a big time "old lady" scent (excuse the terminology) which I'm sure a lot of people find pleasant! It just didn't meet my expectations. Besides all that, it's a great wash. It's thick, creamy, lathers well and definitely softens my skin even if I forget lotion. Not a bad product, just a tad underwhelming.

As a body wash this is just ok. Scent is mild (nothing special), but doesn't last long after your shower. Good size bottle for the price. Moisturizing properties not as good as other brands in this price range.I want buyers to be aware of how slippery the shower gets when you use this. I'm sure it's due to the fact that it is moisturizing, however there are other washes like Dove and Aveno that do not turn your shower into a fall hazard. I have tile in my shower that has never been an issue with any of the "moisturizing"-focused brands. Even the in shower body moisturizers I've used like Jergens never gave me cause for concern. For this reason, I've put the bottle by the sink to use as a hand soap (which frankly it's great for and the size of the bottle makes it economical).

Ok can anyone say Zen Nation...that's what this body wash is to me...the smell takes me to a place in the Oriental forest...where all your hear is the sounds of nature. I'm talking water streams, bird's chirping, the works. And I did was take a shower but man let me tell you...don't use too much... alittle works wonders trust me...I LOVE THIS PRODUCT AND I WILL BUY IT AGAIN.. SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THIS PARTICULAR SCENT...AND YOU CAN ONLY FIND IT ON AMAZON...Zen Nation...that's where it's at...

I used to use Nivea happiness bath wash for years and about 5 years ago I stopped being able to find it. I constantly got compliments on how I smelled. I was so mad at Nivea for discontinuing it I switched brands. Right before COVID happened I stayed at a Westin hotel and fell in love with the smell of the hotel and their bath products. I’ve been looking for a similar affordable body wash ever since. This is it! It’s not exactly the same smell but it’s really close. I love it!! Nivea please don’t discontinue this one!!

Nice body wash but I do not like the smell. It's very strong and to me smells like old lady perfume. Texture and creaminess is very nice though!
