The How to Draw Book for Kids: A Simple Step-by-Step Guide to Drawing Cute and Silly Things

This was bought for a present for my granddaughter who is 6 years old. She loves to draw and is almost at the same level as her Nanny. We both need help to improve. The book has simple step by step pictures to follow to make a drawing you can be proud of.Many different pictures appealing to all, even Nanny’s.

Very happy with this book, it was a gift for my 5 year old niece and she absolutely loves it 🙂

I thought it would be a5 but it's almost a4, and is for a younger age range (3-6) than I thought, but overall good for kids

The book has cute and appealing characters but doesn’t teach drawing, just step by step copying, in an order that didn’t look very logical to me (I can draw and create characters).Hopefully it will give confidence to the kid to get started but that’s yet to be seen.The book arrived with dirty finger marks all over the front cover! I could rub them off but thankfully I didn’t send this as a gift directly to the intended person...! Not what you expect from a new book...

I actually bought this for myself (an adult), as I'm just learning to draw and use Adobe Illustrator. The fun, child-like style of this book really appealed to me. It has easy to follow step-by-step instructions - easy enough for a child! I'll get some other how-to books by this author. I love it and I believe a child would too :)
