This is a good basic case for an old iPhone I gave to the kid. It's well made and seems like it will do a good job of protecting the phone.

I really like the appearance and feel of this case. It feels sturdy and protective, and has a high-tech armored appearance with a plastic back that looks metallic, but might absorb shock better because it's a polymer. The case covers the volume buttons with secondary buttons integrated into the case, so you have to press a little harder, but they still work well. Other phone features are readily accessible. I like the way the opening over the Apple logo on the phone shows how thick the case is, so you can appreciate how substantial it is. Even though it is relatively thick, it's still slightly slimmer than the soft polymer case I had on my LG G2, which had a very streamlined appearance. The raised lip over the screen seems to be a little lower than that other case, but I think it is still high enough to protect against dropping on most hard surfaces, if you don't have a screen protector. I dropped my G2 onto an asphalt parking lot without an additional screen covering, and the lip prevented any screen cracks or scratches. Although I went 2 years without a screen protector on that phone and sustained no damages, I may still add a screen protector to this one. I want to do all I can to keep this phone looking beautiful. The case increases the weight of the phone about 50 percent, so no more sleek, lightweight aluminum art slab in your hand, but I'm happy with the transformation. It's a different kind of art, less subtle but still appealing. Another reviewer said it looked like a "guy case" and I think that's right. Looks like a piece of military gear. Seems like a good design and a really good value.

This case is surprisingly VERY durable. It's withheld being dropped from a few feet up on concrete a few times. I absolutely love how it feels in my hand. It feels very sturdy and durable and feels secure when holding, however it is also not too bulky which was a big thing for me. If you're looking for a sleek and fashionable yet ACTUALLY durable case, get this one!! I love having a cute, sleek case but I also really need something durable because I am always dropping my phone so I was always torn with whether I should just get a cute case or a bulky, ugly, life-proof case. Usually if a case is cute and minimal, it isn't protective and vice versa, but this case is magically BOTH!! Also, YES the buttons and holes on the phone case match perfectly with the buttons and holes on the phone!! I saw a few reviews that said it didn't which I don't know why because the buttons align perfectly and they aren't hard to push or awkward to push or anything like that. Also I can fit the charger perfectly and headphones perfectly without having to take it off. HOWEVER, there is one con which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. These photos were take 2 months after putting the case on and as you can see the case got stained just from everyday use. 99% of the time I keep my phone in my back pocket. I've tried getting the stains out but wasn't successful obviously. It's kind of a bummer since I absolutely loved the color it came in, but the case did arrive vibrantly pink like in the photo, but not to bright, it was a perfectly sleek pink which I loved.SUMMARY/PROS:Durability: 10/10Looks: 10/10Holes/buttons alignment: 10/10Grip: 10/10CON:Lighter colored ones (I got pink) will slowly stain overtime and the color will slightly fade.If you're on the edge, GET IT. It's so aesthetically pleasing, sleek, and truly durable. I would honestly buy a new one!!

I'm not one to upgrade my iPhone with every new release; and I prefer the 6S as it is the last release since moving to a larger size. (I like it to fit nicely in my back pocket.) So, when my old case finally began to look a little ragged and the button openings were tearing, it was time to purchase a new case. I chose this one for its sturdiness, conservative appearance and price; and have been using it for a couple months without any complaint whatsoever. It feels heavy-duty and is not too flashy.
