This phone holster is of quality nylon material, not a leather but not a cheap cloth either, & seems to have good seams, well sewn.The nylon belt clip is riveted to another piece of nylon material which I would think & others have recently shown in their reviews, fails in a short period of time depending on your use.The softer material inside, 'flannelette' is only on one side of the case, toward the hip & up to the lid. The side facing away from the body is of rough nylon so my advice, don't place your phone in the case with the screen facing away from your body.The {*inner dimensions: 6.5"x3.25"x0.5"} as stated above are not correct. This case actually measures 5.5" tall x 3.0" wide x 0.5" thick (not including the fold-over lid).The velcro closure is a bit 'old' in my opinion as so many other holsters have reverted to magnets in the lid.For me, I really need a holster that is 6.5" tall x 3.5" wide, so I need to send this one back.

My phone is an iPhone 12 and this holster/carrier is a little large for it. I don’t use a holster all the time , but when I do it works ok. The padding in it makes it nice protection for the phone. Really the only thing that is problematic is if you use the clip on it instead of putting your belt thru the loop on it, the clip lets it pop off if you do a lot of bending. Then before you know it your phone isn’t there. If you are just walking and not working, it would be fine. Or if you run a belt thru the loop it’s fine. It all depends on how/what you plan to use it for.

I like to keep my phone handy in a durable, easily accessible holster that will stand up to working outside and in my shop. This seemed to work well but after 2 months the Velcro fastening is losing its grip.This may be less of a problem if your phone is bigger than my iPhone se 2020 which is a bit loose even in its medium thick case.The nylon belt clip is durable but can be uncomfortable where my belt is tight around the hips.Finally this case does not call 911 frequently as do many cases for this model phone— check the reviews

Buy more than one. It's a well made product, is exactly the right size, is easy to unclip, and doesn't fall off. Looks nice. The problem is that the velcro wears out quickly if you are grabbing your phone a lot, as most of us do. Request of manufacturer: It would work much better with a strong magnet. I think it used to have one? The velcro works well for 1-2 months. Then the phone is at risk when you sit down, depending on wear you clip (I use a pocket.) An iPhone 11 with a protective shell fits well and has extra room.
