I live in earthquake country (Alaska) so I was looking for a way to secure my new Sony 55" TV to the wall. I have it sitting on it's stand not mounted to the wall. I looked on Amazon to see what they had and the Babbio looked like the best bet. I received it very quickly, the instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to install. I really liked the assortment of screws they included, it saved me a trip to the hardware store. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the straps were a little difficult inserting into the buckle when you are contorted around a large flat screen. The only improvement I would recommend would be to coat the end of the strap with plastic or perhaps a metal ferrule so that it is easier to insert. But it is doable as is and a very good product at a fair price. Just what I was looking for.

It does the job. It has anchored my bookcase and I have reason to believe it will not topple over onto my toddler grandson.However, the brackets are made to be put into wood that is at least the width of them. My bookcase is pressed wood, which is not an issue but what IS is that the back of the bookcase is cardboard so I had to screw the brackets into the back edges of the unit...which are only about a half inch wide. I could only put 2 screws in and one side got damaged because of the wood being so narrow (See photo). I was not pleased. But if your furniture has a solid wood back to be able to screw into that is at least the width of the brackets, you should have no issues.

This is a really nice kit. It’s one of the lower priced ones on amazon and I can’t knock it for anything. Yes, you have to be handy to install it and I’m sure that the screws they supply to mount to the tv will not cover %100 of the TVs out there. The hardware is black chrome which is cool and they provide small Velcro’s strips to take care of the extra strap if you don’t want to cut them. It’s all about the details and this merchant has got it right...

I wish I had known about this product sooner! We had a huge, fairly unstable bookcase to set up in a corner. We couldn't find any sort of bracket to install it securely. Then we found these safety straps. They were very easy to install and adjust, and now we are secure knowing our bookcase isn't going to fall on our children. We will absolutely get them again if we need to secure any other furniture in the future.

love the straps, works well for our big brown cabinet. it's a wobbly cheap cabinet from ikea so we were afraid it would fall over in the event of an earthquake. i bought extra ones because i forgot i had another cabinet i wanted to strap to the wall. easy installation and works great so far. will update my review if an earthquake does happen (hopefully not anytime soon but still).

Outstanding, well-made, durable. I used these straps to secure a 95lbs Sony 630E 65”. A SUPERB TV, but the heavy-weight champion of the world. These great straps hold it securely to the media table. If the earthquake is 6+ on the R scale, then I’d be more worrried about survival than the TV being safe!

I bought these straps to support and secure a 65" tv. I have two big dogs that like to roughouse and it doesn't even so much as wiggle now! I would recommend them to anyone looking to secure a big piece of furniture or tv to protect the item, and your loved ones, from having it fall on them.
