Triplett TLK008 Universal Electronic 42" Test Lead Kit

Happy to find Triplett replacement leads for there VOM 310 meter.These are as good or better than the originals.Sturdy but supple, very flexible leads, with a bit thicker insulation.The handle is longer (5") and fatter (3/8") than originals, with a 3/4" circular hub to rest on.Leads are 42" long / 44" with screw-on alligator clips.----------------------------------ADDITIONAL INFO on package = other replacement leads for other Triplett meters.>>> 1. These, of course, are genuine Triplett replacement leads for the model 310 meter. If you were used to the thinner, smaller, version that used to fit into the older model 310 meter's cardboard box you will find these are full size with thicker gauge wire. They also have a safety collar near the probe tips that the really old leads lacked. The leads screw into the accessory alligator clips for a tight fit.

I have a 50 year-old Triplett 310 meter whose leads started to fray and I worried that I could not replace them. But, after a quick search, I found these replacement test leads. They fit perfectly, they are plenty long, and as an added bonus, they have screw-on, insulated alligator clips that attach to the ends of the test leads. I am so happy that Triplett is still in business and that places like Test Equipment Depot (the Amazon merchant from whom I bought them) exist. BTW, T.E.D. shipped very fast and at a fair price. I would buy from them again.

These test leads appear to be far superior to some cheaper test leads I bought last year - the cheap ones came apart after only a small amount of use. These test leads have good insulators and insulation - they should last a long time.

This kit had all of the implements that I think I will ever need when using my Triplett multimeter. Product seems to be of high quality components. A little pricey, but if this item lasts in terms of longevity and durability, which I expect it will, then it will be well worth it.

Love this set!Two sets of wire, both high-flexibility rubberized, with shrouded banana ends on both ends.I did have to trim some of the shroud to fit into the sockets on one of my DVM's, but they work in most of my other equipment that have shroud-socket connections.The probe ends themselves are a great feature, allowing me to clip on to a ground or buss and test the other polarity with one hand.The carry pack is a plus, letting me pack one set of probes with one of my USB oscilloscope's probes for use with the laptop.

Multimeter leads that are a perfect replacement for my old Triplet multimeter.

Quality materials are used - this is a good replacement for the brittle leads on the original equipment.
