I had given up on finding a lotion for my sensitive skin kiddos, I tried this on a whim, as a last resort, figuring if it didnt work, I could use it for my 2yr old non sensitive daughter...what did I have to loose?IT WORKS!!! My 10mos old can use this lotion without breaking out!!! She is my princess who breaks out if I use Vaseline on her skin(were talking skin blistering and bleeding type of breaking out), I had resigned myself to my youngest smelling like a coconut and enticing every neighborhood pet to lick her for the rest of her life(coconut oil and/or olive oil were the only things we could use that wouldnt cause a problem)I used a small amount to start and the results were great, not even mild redness, then we tried a larger area, again, SUCCESS!! Now I use it on her entire body every night without incident!!! This may not sound all that exciting to most parents, but this is HUGE!!!We have most of the Burts Bees baby line and each product lives up to this same standard. I now use it on all 3 of my baby girls(3, 2, and 10mos), even though the 2yr old has skin like a rhino and can use any product ;-) it just makes me feel better knowing that it is all natural and so gentle it can be used on even those with the most sensitive of skin!!We use this following a bath with Burts bubble bath, it has a pleasant, not overpowering, calming lavender scent.

I usually purchase the unscented version of this product, but it wasn’t available when I needed to order some. The scent is pleasant. I use this cream on my hands, feet, and even as a moisturizer. My skin is very sensitive, and I don’t have any problems using this product. The consistency is nice; not runny. Overall very pleased!

I love burt's bees products and by the description I was hopeful for this product, but the scent is awful. It IS super strong, but it also does not smell like lavender/vanilla. I had to wash this off immediately because I hated the smell so much. Will be giving this product to someone else to try.

I love this lotion. I've used many different lotions on my older child because he has really sensitive skin( Including Johnson's, Aveeno Baby, Aquafor...). In the winter his skin gets so dry that he scratches until he bleeds. (yes, we keep his nails trimmed as short as the 2 year old will allow us to). I put lotion on him after baths and he cries because "it really hurts mommy". I feel bad but I thought in the long run it will help him have less dry skin and less scratching. I had some of this Calming Lotion as a gift from #2 so I tried it one day. No crying. I asked him if it hurts on his dry skin and he said no. When he used to cry out and say "no lotion, no lotion" he now helps me put it on. Its pricey... but worth it.

This stuff is great! There was a small area on my face that wouldn’t heal under my masks that I have to wear for hours at work. This cleared it up after months of being there and trying other things I had at home.

The scent was overpowering- purchased because it was rated so well for excema. However, it was a huge fail. Didn’t help at all with the dry skin and she broke out in hives.

This is a very nice lotion for kids and adults, alike. I love the calming scent which is sort of a lavender Rosemary, flower extract. This is a good price for a good quality lotion not filled with toxins. It isn't the safest baby lotion out there (actually, part of that lovely scent is synthetic fragrance, which is a toxin, sadly) and a few other low-grade toxins as reported on the Environmental Working Group website (which rates products for how safe they are), but it is relatively safe, and definitely more safe than, say Johnson and Johnson's Baby Lotion. This lotion goes on smoothly and makes the skin feel soft.

I use as a face cream cleanser/moisturiser it's brilliance for my skin as I suffer from rosacea with no reaction whatsoever. I love the stuff.

Great product for babies but pricing was higher than international prices.
