winter boots
Excellent all around winter boots, and a great value. They have all the features I was looking for. Insulated faux, waterproof fabric ,and an anti-skid sole. Easy slip on & off. Comfortable, warm to walk in. provide grip, traction on wet surfaces/ ice.cons: there could be more arch support. But I never regret purchasing the boots.

Not the greatest quality but ok
Got these to leave in my car in case I get caught in bad weather with sandals on. They're not super sturdy, probably no real support for your foot or ankle but as cheapies in a pinch, they'll do. Decent price and easy to get on & off.

Quick to put on and very comfy!
Light and comfy. A little wide for my narrow-regular feet. Fit a little smaller than usual. Lost a star for the zippers on the outside. But still a very good purchase πUpdate: I forgot to mention that I use these boots only around the house. They are more like winter slippers to get the mail, take out the garbage, do some shoveling... Maybe go for a quick shopping but I wouldn't use them for my everyday walk. π

The perfect winter boot?
I live in Montreal and the cold winter climate offers severe challenges to winter walking:- frequent extreme cold temperatures that can penetrate most boots if standing outside too long- frequent deep snow not yet cleared from streets that must be plodded through- frequent wet, icy slush pools resulting from salted snow at intersections where the sidewalk meets the road- need to frequently take off and put on boots as homes are entered- extreme danger of slipping on ice, black ice under fresh snow, freeze thaw glaciers on sidewalks, resulting in injuriesFor some years I have been searching for the perfect winter boot. such boot would have the following qualities:- easy slip on and off for entering and leaving houses no need for vigorous pulling on and off and no messing with laces.- real warmth protection against the cold ground- water proof against common slush pools- light weight, No tiring shuffling along with heavy clompy boots- most importantly, resistance to slipping on hidden ice.At one time, I thought that I had found the solution in duckboot like slip-ons of a common brand that I will not name. These boots are rubberized and made of neoprene for warmth. They are well liked for wet sloppy weather, are not too heavy, are easy to slip on and completely waterproof; however, they have one fatal flaw. The rubber soles have extremely bad traction on ice. I used to fall at least once each winter while wearing these boots and injure myself on the ice; a broken rib one year and a broken ankle and elbow another. These boots had poorer ice traction than most boots and even shoes. Then earlier this fall as I was worrying about finding good winter boots again this year, I saw an ad for these inexpensive, lightweight slipper type boots called BJ or Boonjoy boots. The ad claimed that they were lightweight, waterproof, warm and slip resistant. I was quite skeptical but at only $40 on Amazon I thought, "What have I got to lose", and ordered some. Results of one winter of testing:- They are extremely light weight and easy on, easy off. You could call them winter slippers rather than winter boots- They are warm. While I would hesitate to wear them on a winter trek at -40 or stand outside in them for hours and hours on end, I have yet to get cold feet this winter wearing them.- They do seem to be water proof, I was initially quite skeptical about this as they are not rubberized and seem to be made of normal material, however, while I would hesitate to wade through inches deep slush pools with them like I did with the rubberized neoprene boots, I have yet to get my feet wet even on days when it was raining on top of the snow and ice. My feet always stay dry while wearing them.- While I would hesitate to walk a long way through deep snow with them as they are only ankle high I have not encountered any problems waking on normal snowy streets.- Finally, while they are not crampons, they really are slip resistant. there is no obvious deep tread on them, just a shallow diamond shaped pattern on what appears to be a soft foam like material, but I can walk across ice on them with no problem. It took me a while to trust them as I have had bad falls in the past but they have notably better grip than any boot I have previously owned. And all this for $40I totally recommend them as they best winter boot I have found so far for everyday use. Where have they been all my life? One criticism and room for improvement There is a tab on their back for use in pulling them on over the heel; however, this tab is too short so that you can not get a good grip on it. Make it longer, up to the top of the back of the boot and there would be no reason for criticism of these boots at all.

Terrific service
The pair I ordered were too small so I ordered the next largest size. They fit perfectly and were exactly as promised. I have had similar ones before so I'm sure I will happily wear them until they fall apart. I was worried about returning the too-small ones but the seller gave no arguments. Seamlessly refunded my money, did not ask for the product to be returned but for me to donate them instead. I shall definitely buy from this seller again.

Boots/slippers
Pretty good traction, very light weight, I wear them as slippers inside and outside theyre fine too. Only minus is the long wait for them.
