FASTROHY 2 Set Luggage Suitcase Replacement Wheels Axles Rubber Screw Kit OD 42mm

The product description reports that this wheel is 38 mm high, but that is only the black part of the wheel and does not include the sleeve that receives the axle. The actual height of the entire wheel assembly is 41 mm, and that small difference was enough to make this wheel not fit in my application.The reason for reporting dimensions is so that people can determine if something will fit into a specific fixed space. Reporting the height of the wheel but ignoring the attached hardware is useless.

Needed two replacement wheels for a 28-year old Samsonite carry-on. Measured the diameter and width of the old wheels with a caliper, searched for the corresponding sizes, dremeled out the old ones, used the included shafts, and voila! Another 28 years of use for $11.

My carry-on is 10+ yrs. old, but couldn't justify with all this inflation and seldom use to buy a new one.It req'd different hardware than what was included that I purchased at ACE Hardware. Whole thing was under $15 and my time was around 1hr. - purchase and install.

These were the closest fit for an old Samsonite luggage that we had... We measured before and knew it was a few mm short and were concerned about the axle length but it fit.

These replacement wheel for my luggage are Perfect! Exccept! They are 3/16" to 1/4" TOO WIDE! I was forced to order the .71" (18mm) variety which will be nothing but problems! I will have to shim up the differences in width.I am NOT pleased!
